This basement apartment was furnished with literally everything you could need, Responsive owner; beautiful furnishings and everything works well; including a very efficient washer/dryer. I was initially worried about being "in the basement" but have liked how dark and quiet it can be with one exception: Construction on a new apartment building is happening two doors down and construction begins at about 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. It can be annoying. Also, children live upstairs and they are--well children! Can be very boisterous, but they are in bed by 9 PM generally. The owners provide plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, drying cloths, kitchen utensils; comfortable beds, and looks exactly like the picture. The location is great. Very safe and comfortable. Check out the cute coffee shop across the street... I recommend this place. I know you'll enjoy your stay here. Very pleased with our experience.

Great spot in the city

Perfect location, close to subway lines, cozy restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment was very clean and closely resembled the pictures on the VRBO site. The neighborhood felt very safe and was quiet at night. We would definitely stay there again.

Location location location! Great location right by the 2 subways, Central Park, the MET museum, supermarkets including Whole Food Market and plenty of restaurants and shops.
