Between the table and breakfast bar, there is ample room for everyone to share homestyle meals. Sliding doors lead to the deck, so you can take dinner outdoors when you are in the mood to barbecue. The screened porch is adjacent to the dining room and offers the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee before a fun-filled day on the water.

Furnished with a duobunk, a TV and a DVD player, the main level bedroom is the ideal spot for the kids. They will love this bright and cheerful space! There is also a primary suite with a king bed, TV and DVD player on this floor. Decorated with a good night's sleep in mind, you will awaken refreshed and ready to tackle any adventure.

Upstairs, you will find a primary suite that is a private haven where you can completely unwind. It has a king bed, TV, DVD player, wet bar and a full bath with a garden tub and shower. A cozy gas fireplace and a private balcony are added bonuses!

Good..but can be improved

Things need to get improved. Bed quality : most of the beds were not comfortable. AC : except living room area other floors are either freezing or too hot . We got confused with Lake photo. Actually lake is not visible from property . Pool table not placed in a position so that we can play . nearly impossible to play from two side. Need to change the direction . Good thing: Hot tub : we enjoyed a lot. Cabin was really spacious . good for small kids. lots of space to play outdoor.

Great location but owners need to hire new housekeeping!!!

Property is in a nice area and cozy but a bit run down however that could be overlooked if it was clean and organized. We did not enjoy cleaning every thing we used including the floors and every dish, glass etc. The kitchen is well appointed but very dirty and hard to find dishes not chipped and cracked. I noticed in past reviews before we went that the dishwasher was an issue and it still is an issue. The management company Taylor-Made should be ashamed of themselves! We stopped into Taylor-Made for more dish soap because we ran out and told them why (all the cleaning) and they said nothing about it. It's a perfect place for a family vacation if it was maintained!!

Relaxing trip

The property was easy to get to. We had a hiccup on the first night with finding a mouse in one of the rooms after 9pm so had to wait till the morning to call. A maintenance person came 2 hours after I made the call. I think the house was cleaned before we arrived, but the windows must need to be resealed because there were a lot of flies congregating in top part of the nice long windows. they didn't bother us much, just kept dying everywhere once they got in which was annoying. Aside from those two issues, pool table was a lot of fun, we could use our Netflix on the TVs, plenty of games and puzzles provided, the firepit was a blast and they provided plenty of wood for us to use. The grill was great, clean and easy to use, the propane tank was provided. There were little notes around the house so you were never left wondering where or how. Plenty of pots and pans for all kinds of cooking. No fence but there was plenty of outdoor space for the dog to run around so she had a blast. All in all the cons were to be expected, we are in the woods. Luckily we had extra rooms so it didn't restrict us much. The weekend was very relaxing and we had a wonderful weekend at the Windsor home.

Only a couple issues: Downstairs sliding glass door came out of hinge and would not lock, dishwasher shuts off after running on 2 minutes. Bunk beds very uncomfortable, could not use fireplace because no starter logs.

Awesome weekend trip

Great location & very clean, perfect for 5 friends & myself for a weekend trip. There was plenty of space for all of us and the house is really beautiful. My only complaint is that it is probably time for a new grill, the one there currently has seen better days.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First when I come into the property the counter tops, appliances ,glass sliding doors,kitchen table was not cleaned. Went upstairs to bedroom walked into bathroom and inspected shower. There was and still is after trying clean it ourselves mold in shower. Walked back into bedroom pulled back sheets and saw long black hair in sheets and on quilt. Called Taylor made. Someone came out and flipped out sheets not quilt until one of our guests walked up there to inform her quilt has hair on it too. Second day went to office to get more wash rags. We was told that we have to wash the towels which meant everyday. We had 6 towels and 10 wash rags for 8 people. One girl did finally get a bag of towels. When we took back to house it had plenty of everything else except wash rags. They gave us two more. When I went downstairs to wash used wash rags the washer did not work. Called Taylor made. Someone nice came out and said they will contact owner to see what they want to do. No phone call til I called the next day in the evening. They was to come out next day in the afternoon. My husband was they for the delivery. Lowe’s took a half and he to decide which way the was going to take in the washer and dryer then when they got it in there asked him where are the new hoses. He told them he is not th owner of house. They told him they will not replace old hose to new machine. He again told them he wasn’t the owner and they would have to contact someone. So they decided to go ahead and change out hoses if my husband signed off and again he said no I’m not the owner. They finally hooked up washer then started with dryer. Then they said where is the new plug. My husband I am not the owner. So they said again they are not unscrewing the old one and putting on new dryer. Finally a Taylor made maintenance guy showed up and did it for them. So I have spoken with chad Taylor and he said he would call me with a compensation number. I have had Chris and Kim leave m

Windsor House long weekend

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in this property before. We had problems with the rental the last time we were there. There was only 1 hair dryer for 4 couples, the hot tub was only half filled, the jets were blocked and the head rests were missing. In the master bedroom there were dead bugs, beetles and lady bugs all over the floor as well as on the window sills of the living room. All of the pots and pans were old and bent; they did not sit flat on the stove. The pans also had burned/caked on food on the bottoms. We visit 2-3 times a year and will not stay in this property again. My husband would like to explore Railey properties for next year.

It had plenty of space to spread out, and was small enough for our family to still be together. It was located on a main road which was nice for the winter, to get in and out of town. There were a few downsides, the place had mice (which I don’t really blame anyone for), the hall bathroom and smaller bedroom were saunas while the basement was a meat locker. If the changed some of the floor vents to be able to close it would help regulate the heat. The basement windows were leaky; you could feel the cold air pouring in. I’d probably stay again, but would strongly recommend the owner or management co. do some fine tuning of the place.

The Windsor House was everything we needed from the spacious bedrooms, extra bathrooms, very well maintained in the living spaces, kitchen had all that we could use and my family will be back for another vacation. Just sorry to see the Windsor House up for sale. The restaurants were great and our best day was on a platoon boat out on the most beautiful lake.

House was gorgeous and accurately shown in pictures when shopping around for rentals. If I had any questions, the Taylor was quick to respond. I loved that there was a late check out at 12pm, I feel like usually houses check out at 10 or 11. House had TON of space! Which was great! I came in the winter but I can imagine myself loving this house during the summer!

The house was conveniently located (though no water or ski views) and had everything we needed for our few-day get away. The property was clean and nicely maintained. I love the fire pit on the patio outside. You felt safe and slightly free from bugs because your feet was not in the grass . The water pressure in the showers was very strong . They had plenty of bathrooms for multiple guests and the dining room table was enough to seat everyone for games . Taylormade was extremely responsive to any request or need and also asked questions at the end to make sure we enjoyed our stay ! We will be back next year !

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 5th vacation at Deep Creek. The Windsor House was very accommodating for our group of 9 and well maintained and very clean. We loved the layout of the open kitchen, dining room and living room space - great for wine and cheese hour each afternoon after your short trip to Fireside Deli & Wine nearby. It was nice to have 3 master suites with own bath and plenty of table space both inside and on the porch for large meals. The patio was great for evening fires to roast marshmallows for s'mores and smoke cigars. The location is pretty good if you don't need a view of the lake although it was nice to have lake access with just a short half mile walk. We even saw a black bear for our first time (that we nicknamed Shirley) and her baby cub down near the lake! Our only issue was the range in temperature of the 3 floors. We had mild weather (70s) most of the week but upstairs bedroom was very warm and downstairs space was very cold while keeping middle level around 70 degrees. Definitely request an extra fan for upstairs and blankets for those sleeping downstairs! Overall, a good experience for our group for a reasonable price.

Fairly Satisfied!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll try to make this a quick review, but get the most important points across. We were very excited to stay at this place. It is quite beautiful as you can see from the pictures. It's pretty close to the lake access (about .5 miles) and you can rent a pontoon boat and pick everyone up right at the dock (which was awesome!). To hit a few of the negative points, the place was full of dog hair when we moved in. I understand it allows pets so that can be expected, but there was hair all over our comforters and all over the place. We had to request the cleaning people to come over again and wash all the bedding sets. The place is a little smaller than it looks. They probably waste too much space on the top floor. The downstairs area is very nice, as is the outside patio and lawn. We slept in the master bedroom which was beautiful, but extremely hot. The temperature differences between the basement and the top suite were quite dramatic and hard to please everyone. Other than that, I think we liked the place. We probably wouldn't stay there again though. Too many other places to try out!
