About Diana

Born & raised in Canada, I relocated to Winter Park for a job at an International Company. I have lived in Oakville - Ontario, Philadelphia - Pennsylvania, Winter Park - Florida & most recently, San Francisco, CA. I finished a mechanical engineering degree at the University of Western Ontario and and MBA at Rollins College in Winter Park. I am working in the solar industry and have to leave my beautiful home once again.

Why Diana chose Orlando

My neighborhood is gorgeous with the massive oak trees and brick lined streets. It is also walking distance to Park Ave, Audobon Park & Baldwin Park. The house needed a complete makeover, and I got my chance to use my engineering skills & add my personal touch.

What makes this house unique

The streets in this area are riddled with beautiful houses of different architectural styles and the house is nestled between two lakes in a quiet neighborhood. The plush greenery and many different plants along the street add to the charm of this neighborhood. The size of the backyard is perfect for outdoor lovers. The house has the original oak floors, and marble tile throughout. It boasts all top of the line kitchen appliances. Both bathrooms have natural light with a skylight in the central bathroom. This house is close to all the action but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet.

Great Value

My dogs and I stayed in this rental for an extended period while my home was under renovation. Diana was very accommodating in letting me continue to extend my reservation and the home was perfect for our needs. The location is great and the neighborhood is gorgeous!

Wonderful well equipped home in Winter Park

We just stayed in this wonderful home for a month while traveling with our jobs. The home is in a fantastic neighborhood, and the house has everything you need. There are great high end upgrades all throughout the house, and huge bedrooms. My family and I all really enjoyed the home and our stay, and Diana was so easy to work with. I highly recommend staying here, and if we come back to Winter Park we will stay here again for sure!

Very Dissapointing

We arrived to a house that was not clean & yard not taken care of for many weeks, also only partially fenced. Deck was full of splinters & only had a small table & 3 rusty chairs. Washer & dryer are in a filthy garage. Kitchen is not equipped with sets of matching plates or flatware, no handle on refrigerator door, no garbage disposal. Living room did not have lamps for reading after dark. Master bedroom is very noisy & second bedroom had very bad mattress for adults. There were no start up supplies & inadequate cleaning equipment.

The house is on a very busy thoroughfare but is an easy walk to town. The area is safe & there are many nice homes but this is one that you will find lacking in care both in & outside. I can not recommend this property. I really question the high reviews & their legitimacy. I write this as the truth because I would not want others to not know what they will find if they choose to rent from Diana.

Owner's Response: 1st Offer - Full Refund. They refused. Instead I provided a partial refund, bought a dresser, extra yard work, painted chairs, purchased an umbrella, & much more. My rebuttal, below: Unclean House Upon Arrival: Maid finished cleaning 30min prior. I offered to recall the maid. They said, OH, YES MAID WAS HERE. IT's CLEAN, NO NEED. Yard: My lawn guy did not show for a 2 week cycle. Florida Yard is Bahia grass & much foliage. If you are looking for Kentucky Blue Grass, & "Stepford Neighborhood" this is not the house for you. The yard guy trimmed many more plants than I wanted, to satisfy the master gardener renter. Partially fenced: Listing does not indicate fully fenced. There are two 6' gaps on the sides of the house that you can block with chicken wire. Deck Splinters: Deck replaced 2 yrs ago. It is wood. Small table: There are 2 small tables as shown in the listing pics. 3 rusty chairs: Chairs had rust spots. I repainted the chairs immediately, and went to purchase a 4th chair that was missing. They asked 4 an umbrella: I purchased one. They asked 4 a dresser: I purchased one. WD in filthy garage: A garage is a garage - not filthy not sparkling. Yes the WD are in the garage with carpet leading to the WD as pictures show. Kitchen Plates & Flatware: New matching plates purchased. There is a lot of flatware. No handle on Fridge door: A prior guest broke the door handle. I have not replaced the high end, well functioning fridge due 2 a door handle. Many attempts to fix, but the handle doesn't want to stay. The fridge opens. I will try 2 fix again. No garbage disposal: It is not stated on my listing that there is one. Living room lamps: The pictures show no lamps. There is a light on the wall. Master Bed Noisy: Double Pane Windows. Noisy if you open the windows. Bedroom 2 very bad mattress for adults: Mattresses are 2 yrs old. Twin beds meant 4 kids, not adults. No start up supplies: Basics such as toilet paper, paper towel, soap is waiting. Consumables are guest responsibility Inadequate cleaning equipment: Swifter & Vacuum, Dust Pan, some supplies. House Location: Cars drive 25mph to get from Baldwin Park to Winter Park. Neighborhood is being redeveloped: McMansions on my street vs my renovated 1952 Florida Home. Property Recommendation: Please look at all reviews & consider price & location. I cannot recommend these guests. Reviews legitimacy: Pls refer to VRBO review policy. All reviews are legitimate.

All in all we had a lovely time in Winter Park and were very comfortable in house. There are a few things, however, that I found misleading, a few things that I think should be clarified in rental posting.

The posting stresses the upscale brands of the kitchen appliances. So I was surprised to find the house much less luxurious than I expected. Yes, the appliances are expensive brands but clearly they were not new. And to mention that the refrigerator is a Fisher and Paykel when it's dented and is missing a door handle left me bewildered! The floor is marble but with enough scratches, broken tiles and a big gouge that again I wonder why mention it.

There were also things that I read into the posting that I shouldn't have. There's a picture of the yard that captures the fence and one renter mentioned how much her dogs enjoyed the yard. The posting never said that the yard is not fully fenced but it would be an important detail to know when renting to a family with either children or dogs. Particularly, because the street is busy during rush hour.

And there are things that need improvement to keep renters safe and comfortable.

The wood on the deck is old and VERY splintered. I went out in socks one day only to regret my haste. Again, important to know if you have children who are likely to play outside. It's really dangerous.

The house was basically equipped but there appears to be little thought in some areas. It's hard not to compare with other rentals that we've used. The kitchen is has the basics but it's hard to live for a month with bowls of mismatched sizes and shapes especially when many don't appear to be microwave friendly. And 2 teaspoons is not adequate. The last place we rented offered a set of 12 plain white matched Corelle dishes - inexpensive, unbreakable, and microwavable. It made living much more comfortable.

The second bedroom has no dresser and living out of a suitcase for a month is tiring. The filmy curtain in the master bathroom offers no privacy. I had to hang towels over the window.

The walk to Park is not "a short walk" for senior or for anyone wanting a quick bite. I clocked it walking at about 3 miles walking several ways.

Having said all this, we were, as stated, very comfortable in the house. The neighborhood is spectacular. There are stores, restaurants, museums and more a short RIDE away. The dog park is 5 minutes drive and is wonderful! None of what I mention made me regret renting the house.

A short walk to park avenue, rollins college, mead garden, leu gardens, audobon park, blue jacket park, and baldwin park.

Beautiful cobble stone street neighborhood with a variety of architectural housing styles perfect for variety in your walk or jog through the brick laid streets. A 6 mile loop through blue jacket park around lake baldwin relaxes every walker. This property is nestled between lake virginia and lake sue a perfect place to escape and enjoy the view.

Awesome boat tours...

Local food:

From small grocers to wonderful restaurants, this area is a short walk to delicious, fresh food from fish house, meat house and the winter park farmer's market. Restaurants offer a variety of cuisines from irish pubs and gastropubs to fine french dining and everything in-between all within walking distance.

Local entertainment:

Live theatre steps away. Bars in the area such as uptown park wine bar and orlando's 1st champagne bar: 111, irish pubs and karaoke venues for the up and coming singing contestants.


An abundance of festivals await....Winter park art festival, film festival: , and the ice cream festival as well as many orange county convention center events.

A short drive to downtown orlando, thornton park and college park gives you a change of pace.

Shopaholics heaven with neighborhood boutiques, antique shops (ivanhoe & mount dora) as well as high end retail shops at mall @ millennia and high end outlets on international drive & buena vista.

Top rated school district: winter park hs, glenridge middle school and audobon park elementary school.
