WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
Check-in is after 4 PM. Check-out is before 11 AM.
Rental agreement is required with ID verification.
Pet Policy: Pets are strictly prohibited on this property. This includes all animals, except for legally defined service animals as permitted under applicable law. Emotional support animals (ESAs) and therapy animals are not considered service animals and are not permitted.

Any unauthorized animal brought onto the property will result in additional cleaning and/or damage fees and may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
You may notice harmless Asian beetles (look like lady bugs) at times, especially on windows. They’re not a sign of cleanliness, just a natural, seasonal nuisance that's hard to fully prevent.

We stayed at the roundhouse for our 21st anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better spot.The location is absolutely perfect.Close enough to everything but still felt like a private escape. The property itself is simply beautiful and well maintained. Thank you for making our trip more special in memorable.We left feeling refreshed and can't wait to come back for another trip. Our host was amazing , very attentive to our needs. Absolutely loved at five stars

So much detail within the property from a stocked pond for fishing, a walking path while on the property still felt like an adventure in and of itself. The house was clean and the overall setting was peaceful. This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I.

Great, unique house for a girls weekend! We had a blast hanging at the house and hiking nearby. We loved spending time in the hot tub and the walking path that the owners had created on property - probably close to a quarter mile long through the prairie lands! Great kitchen, too.

Excellent stay. Very clean. Kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable, hot tub was great. Location is very private. Only downside was driving on the several miles of unpaved county roads to get there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend!

This house was beautifully decorated with modern amenities.It was very warm and cozy.The beds are so comfortable. Everything you need except for your groceries! I suggest you bring in every thing you need as its quite a drive to get to the house. And a long drive to stores and restaurants. Be prepared to drive on gravel roads, also. But we really loved the house, all of the windows bring in the warmth of the sun.

We loved the property and its location. Beautiful home just north of the Iron Furnace. House has all the amenities you could need and the area was secluded and peaceful. We will be coming back for our next trip.

This was such a cute house and property. The house was so neat and cozy. Very clean and new looking. The porch by the pond was my favorite place to have morning coffee. So peaceful and private. Will definitely be back!

This round home was so unique, and the most spotless/clean rental I’ve stayed in yet! The space was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners provided everything you could possibly need and more. Both nights we enjoyed watching the star filled sky from the hot tub, it literally felt like a dream. The location was perfect for our visit to Garden of the Gods, but as other reviews mentioned, wish we had brought more food for dinners, as there really isn’t any nice places to eat close by.

Warmly decorated unique home on a well-maintained large property. Lack of light pollution makes for an easy evening looking at stars from the hot tub or covered patio space. Owners checked in often, though we had no issues. Would gladly recommend.

Quiet country stay

We so enjoyed the quiet and country atmosphere! We were very surprised at the extra effort this home has to make it comfortable for our stay. And everywhere we looked the home had lovely furnishings! With all the windows, we got to watch the birds! Also, don’t forget the neat hikes close by!

Absolute serenity

The Roundhouse is an absolute gem. It is so peaceful and serine. Our favorite thing to do was sit around the fire by the pond. The trees have changed colors and were absolutely breathtaking. We loved everything about our stay. The hot tub was a bonus. I have rented many items from Allison. She always goes above and beyond. I recommended using the grocery delivery and the Birthday set up. We will return to the Roundhouse for sure. I am very thankful for our stay.

A perfect location for a solo retreat. The house is very rural and isolated, which is exactly what I was looking for. Check-in was as easy as could be, and communication with Allison was perfect. She answered all of my questions quickly and was a delight to work with. Because the property is so isolated, you will need to get supplies/provisions well before you arrive. It's a 30-minute drive to the Wal-Mart supercenter in Harrisburg, the closest town of any decent size. However, the spectacular full kitchen makes cooking easy. All cookware and cutlery are provided, as are a basic supply of spices focused on Italian cooking. If you like cooking Asian cuisine like stir-fry as I do, or Mexican, you'll need to bring your own spices. The hot tub is excellent and was a real treat in December.Watching TV during the day can be a bit problematic; with the current orientation of the TV, the sun coming in from the windows with a southern exposure creates a lot of glare on the screen. If you're out enjoying the Shawnee Forest during the day, you'll never encounter this very minor issue.I absolutely loved this house and the hosts. I would gladly stay here again. Thanks for a great time!

What an amazing place.

The property was clean, the house was reallt nice and had many great features. It had dish washer, new stove/range top, dish washer, washer and dryer, nice shower and bathroom. The living room and dinning area was large for the one year old to have fun and explore and plenty of room for her big sister to have room to play too. The beds were great for two granddaughters and their parents with the bunk beds and the the other room left room for the grandparents. It had and nice outside covered picnic area with fore place and charcola grill for cooking with picnic tables and nice loutside ounge chairs. The place comes with everything blankets, linen, dishes, utensils, glasses, ect...just need food and clothes and time for fun. We didnt use the hot tub, but the little lake had plenty of blue gill and croppie to catch and release. I guess you could eat them but they were small and we decided to release our fish. We cook out, camp fire with marshmallows, fished, and watch stars, and visited many close convient places at Shawnee Park nearby.
