This house was in an amazing location—I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. On top of that, the yard was so wonderful I could have happily stayed in it all day long!

Perfect location. Wonderful back yard for enjoying coffee in the morning and watching sunsets on the mountain. Great layout for families where each has their own space. Dog friendly with a fenced in yard, where the pups could hang out with us. Well-stocked kitchen and out door games provided. Spectacular property all around! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Great house, great yard, great location and great owner! We had a lovely stay. The house (esp the kitchen) is so well stocked and organized. Candise was amazing to work with. She was so responsive and kind. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

This by far is the best VRBO we have stayed in and we’ve been staying in quite a few VRBO‘s for the past six years. Clean, cozy, convenient, in a beautiful location and fully loaded with everything we could possibly need. We had Thanksgiving dinner there and it was just so nice all the little things that we forgot to bring. Candise had all the amenities there for us to use and we are so thankful. We already are planning on when we will be back.

The house was very cozy and a great place to come back to and relax. It was as described. We did not need to use it but just to note that the one It was chilly in the house when we arrived but we adjusted the floor heat when we entered following the host's instructions and the gas stove and split heaters heated things up quickly. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing. Being so close and walking distance to the quaint town of Ouray was great.

For our wedding, we wanted a small get-together that included 5 people total with one dog. This Vrbo had all the necessities and amenities we needed for our families and us. The Hosts, Candise and Philip were responsive to my questions. Two out of the three rooms had air-conditioning units, which was a selling point. All three rooms had ceiling fans or box fans to help with the Colorado summer heat. One out of three rooms was accessible on the first floor, so keep that in mind if stairs (one steeper set to the loft over the living space) are not ideal for your situation, but this was a non-issue for us. Plenty of seating in the indoor living space (6 seats) and patio (10 seats) to enjoy the company of everyone. Our parents enjoyed reading the historical books about Ouray and the Million Dollar Highway that were available in the living space. Little additions like hiking poles, hiking backpacks, and family-friendly games were appreciated and thoughtful. The location was key, as we ate out for most of our meals; restaurants and shopping were within walking distance, so bring good tennis shoes or properly supportive sandals because the surrounding area is mostly gravel until you reach Main Street. Overall, it was a great place that we felt comfortable and excited to call a temporary home at the end of the day.

Property was clean and the house was well supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We didn’t use the loft, which is partially open to the living space, and would provide limited privacy. The location near the center of town was perfect for exploring the area. The view from the back yard and porch was stunning. All in all a great visit and experience.

We loved our stay! The location was perfect—an easy walk to everything in downtown Ouray. The mountain views from the property were absolutely gorgeous, and the well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare breakfast. It was also an ideal home base for hiking, with so many great trails just minutes away. We’d definitely stay here again!

The house was spacious for our family's stay. It is an excellent location. The kitchen was well appointed. We especially enjoyed the shaded outdoor space on a hot summer's day. Not all rooms are air conditioned, but we were cool enough for sleeping.

I work as a registered nurse now, but I used to be a combat medic—so I’ve definitely seen my share of adventures! Speaking of which, I absolutely love going on new adventures with my family, whether it's hiking, road tripping, or just exploring something new together.
