We absolutely loved our stay here! The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the location felt very safe! The host was very responsive! I messaged her for recommendations on restaurants and also asking if we needing to do anything specific for checkout. She responded right away both times! Definitely keeping this one on our list in case we ever need to go back!

Such a cute house with PLENTY of space inside and out. Communication was clear and although we didn’t need any additional support, we had the option for direct contact with the host. Within walking distance of a super neat park and walking trail which was great for our family. A previous review made me a bit nervous but we had no such issues at all! The house is older and therefore not pristine but floors, kitchen, bathrooms were all very clean and tidy.

Horrible experience! We arrived at the property at 10pm after a long day at the ballfield and our door code would not work. Contacted the host several times with no answer. Contacted VRBO and was put on hold for an hour and half. VRBO tried to contact host several times and said it was going straight to Voicemail. We finally gave up and went to a hotel (at 1230am). Had to back up at 6am to go back to the ballfield. It is currently 11am and I STILL have not heard from the host, even though i have contacted her this morning as well. Paid 100 more for the hotel, had to sleep 3 people in one bed bc of lack of hotel rooms, no sleep AND have to wait 2 weeks for my refund. Not happy at all!

Just okay

Strange experience with this rental. Arrived in the dark, no instructions to key box, no lights on, entered and found a hole in ceiling in family room with stuff hanging off the ceiling. No information provided about WiFi, I had to message the host and waited a couple hours before receiving a response. Master bed had some kind of plastic bed cover over mattress crunched every time you’d move, towels in master bath were paper thin, miss matched, floors and stove were dirty. This house is not well kept. I messaged the host that we left early, couldn’t wait to get out of there and wanted them to know about the hole in the ceiling but never got a response. I’d think twice before renting this place. Appliances are outdated, no keurig/kcup for coffee…very disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations, and I’d like to address the concerns you’ve raised. First, I apologize for the confusion regarding the key box instructions and lighting. Check-in instructions, including key access details, are automatically sent through the booking platform, but I understand that arriving in the dark without exterior lights on made things difficult. We have motion-sensor lighting and confirming that instructions are clear and resent on check-in day. Regarding the ceiling in the family room, we were made aware of a small area that required repair following an unexpected leak. It was scheduled to be patched the following week, and we regret that it was not resolved before your arrival. This is being corrected immediately to prevent future disruption. The WiFi login detail are automatically sent through the booking platform. I’m sorry for the delay in my response and am implementing faster messaging alerts to ensure timely communication although the WIFI instructions were provided prior to arrival. As for the master bedroom and bathroom, I appreciate your comments. The mattress protector is medical-grade for sanitation, which some guests appreciate, but I understand the noise may be bothersome. We will consider quieter alternatives. The towels and bedding are being updated to improve guest comfort and appearance. Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and I am disappointed to hear about the floors and stove. We’ve addressed this with our cleaning team and will reinforce our quality checks before each stay. Lastly, while we do provide a standard coffee maker with filters, we recognize the growing preference for Keurig machines and are considering adding one for guest convenience. I’m truly sorry that your stay did not reflect our usual standards. Your feedback helps us improve, and we hope you'll consider staying with us again under better circumstances.
