Work friends vacation

We stayed 3 nights and we all agreed it was fantastic. From check in to check out the process was seamless. Debra provided everything we needed. Plenty of room and the sunsets were spectacular. Would stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

The location was perfect! The cottage was great, and was equipped with things we thought we would have to buy when we got there like tissues etc. There was even a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates!My only negative was comment would be the TV, should provide more detailed instructions as it was more complicated than what we were used to at home.This was our first VRBO stay and will definitely use this as an option to hotels on any future vacations.

Happy Harbour Home

A beautifully decorated home in picturesque surroundings. We had everything we needed…towels, kitchenware, patio furniture, etc. to make our time in Indian Harbour perfect. The views and the sounds of waves crashing on nearby rocks and the bouy bell in the distance were everything we hoped they would be. The hostess was readily available if we had questions. We highly recommend this home and hostess! Thanks for a great stay, Deb!

The Best!

When you walk into the house, there is a chalkboard sign in the kitchen reading “Welcome Home”. It truly says it all.The house is spacious, well decorated, very comfortable and welcoming. Everything you want when traveling, including a washer/dryer.The location was ideal for visiting Peggy’s Cove, Halifax and the must see historical town of Lunenburg. Oh, and the sunsets “at home”… amazing!! Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. Many thanks!!

Indian Harbor and Nova Scotia

Our stay at Deb and Rico’s property was everything we hoped for and more. The house was lovely, clean and comfortable and the location was perfect as a base to explore Nova Scotia. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Ocean side Cottage

The view and location were stunning. The neighbors were fantastic. The location was perfect as our home base. Restaurants in the area were wonderful. Our host was most attentive and we got to visit her store, Hags on the Hill, at Peggy’s Cove. A +++++++. We can’t wait to come back.

Very comfortable accommodation in brilliant locati

Cottage was more of a real home than just a holiday accomodation. Brilliant location right on a little cove. Amazing views . The owner had thought of everything, even night lights to locate the bathroom at night.

Shore front delight!

My 22-y-o granddaughter joined me for her first trip out of the US. I chose this cottage for its proximity to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and the rocky coast. It was perfect for the two of us, plenty of room, very comfortable, well-supplied kitchen, excellent WiFi, and beautiful walks. The owners responded immediately and helpfully to a mechanical issue. Loved every minute!

Wonderful Place!

This place was as pictured and worth every penny. Tastefully decorated and a thoughtful welcome gift. We loved having an outside space so close to the water. And the location so close to Peggys Cove was a highlight. We would recommend staying here and would come back!! :)

The Crooks’ Cottage!

Exceeded expectations!

This is a Gem. Very comfortable and the hosts are awesome. I have dietary needs and do my own baking, Deb made sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I could have stayed forever!! The views were breathtaking! Right from booking the communication was flawless. The attention to detail was second to none….anything you could possibly need or want was thought of and provided for! I can’t wait to return again and again!! What a great property!

We had such a great time at Deborah's property which is right next to Peggy's cove! We stayed there for 4 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The house is really lovely, very cosy and well equipped so as to make your stay wonderful. The view from the property is gorgeous (and the sunsets are just breathtaking), you're close to some great hiking on the rocks near by, you can buy some delicious lobster next door (thanks to Deborah for providing us with a lobster pot!). And Indian Harbour is at the crossroads of many sightseeings (Halifax and the Citadel, Lunenburg and the Bluenose, and Peggy's cove where you can visit Deborah's shop which is very nice). From the time you step into Deborah's cottage, you can feel that she has put all her heart in the decoration of the place. Deborah, thanks a lot for this amazing stay. Cecile and Eric

I grew up in Indian Harbour, only a stone's throw from this cottage. It is a beautiful place, even in the worst of weather! Being near the ocean brings a sense of peace to my busy world. I hope it does the same for you.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The cottage originally belonged to my brother, who was a fisherman. He passed away in 2015 and bequeathed his home to me. In order to be able to keep it, my husband and I made the decision to renovate it completely (no more bachelor pad) and add it to the rental market. Eventually, we will sell our home and retire to this one, where we can enjoy all the natural surroundings!
