Property just as described, love the bedrooms and bathrooms. Loft area super cute and great for extra sleeping. The staircase adorable but was hard to manage with luggage. The outdoor patio so nice for morning coffee. Highly recommend.

The Chateau was the perfect place for our family reunion and celebration. Cindy and Max were fantastic hosts and communicated with me several times before our stay. They are truly amazing! Everything about the chateau was amazing. It had everything we needed and then some! The location was convenient to the downtown area and the surrounding areas. We all had a great stay and look forward to staying here again in the near future! If you have the opportunity to stay here you will not be disappointed!!

Graduation from Nursing school

We all arrived from four separate states to celebrate Addison‘s nursing graduation and had the time of our lives. Your house was wonderful and the city is just bursting with energy. Thank you for your wonderful flexibility in letting us get in early and for a house that made us feel like we were home. There was literally nothing we would change.

Home away from home in Nashville

This is a fantastic Vrbo! The hosts have gone over and above to make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable. They have decorated it to be fun and festive with lots of special touches. The owners live downstairs and that ended up being an asset! They were able to answer questions and help us out with anything we might need. They were so kind. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Spring Break 2025

We had a fantastic time staying at Chateau Monroe. Max and Cindy are awesome hosts and made our stay comfortable and memorable. They went out of their way to ensure our vacation was perfect and treated us like family. Any questions or requests were taken care of quickly and the property was perfect. We will definitely be back!

The Perfect Venue for a Family Get-together

Four family from all over the world converged on Nashville for the Southern experience. After extensive searching, we booked Chateau On Monroe because it looked both well equipped and homely. It did disappoint us! Firstly, the hosts were amazing and anticipated all our questions. They welcomed a family member a little earlier the. Anticipated, fo which we are extremely grateful. The house itself is large, very clean and well equipped. The bedroom are comfortable and the bathrooms were huge! Whilst this property isn’t right on Lower Broadway, it’s far enough away for peace and quiet; whilst close enough to take a brisk walk, or a very short Uber. Personally, we thought the location was ideal. I can’t recommend Chateau On Monroe enough and thank you so much for hosting us xx

"Girls" Trip 2024

Our group of 8 women had a wonderful stay! I've stayed in numerous vacation rentals and I can attest that Max and Cindy are two of the most gracious and accommodating hosts I've experienced. The home is VERY well appointed and if there is anything you need, Max and Cindy will get it for you. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. I would definitely consider who will access the loft room. I wasn't very mindful about our age and the need to use the bathroom during the night, as well as those who have had hip and knee surgeries. HA HA! It was very easy to get ubers/lyfts to everywhere we wanted to explore. The grocery store a couple blocks away was also very convenient. Put this home on the top of your list - you won't regret it!

Great house - EXCELLENT HOSTS! - Super Clean

These hosts simply could not be nicer, the most accommodating we have ever had at any rental property. The house is decorated very nicely, everything is in working condition and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms are updated. The home is so CLEAN, which is very important to us, there was not one bad thing I could say. Walking distance to some things, but easy enough to grab an Uber anywhere within a few minutes. Would absolutely stay again! Thank you Max & Cindy!

This is a very nice property. The high ceilings made it spacious rather than being crammed in a small space. Very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The parking and security gate provided assurance. It was a good refuge from the rigors of a technical conference downtown. I would definitely return.

Friends Getaway

This place was better than advertised. There is seating for seven in the living room, which does not appear in the photograph. There were snacks in a basket and wine upon arrival. There were choices of shampoo, conditioner, and even a new toothbrush for my friend, who forgot one.

Cindy is a real estate investor who loves renovating and building houses. The spring 2017 completion of Chateau on Monroe is the fulfillment of our latest dream: providing guests from around the world an exceptional hosting experience as they explore everything our beloved city has to offer, served up with a heaping portion of good ole southern Music City hospitality.
Chateau on Monroe is my business, but serving my guests is where my heart is. I am here personally, ready at a moment's notice, to take care of those who entrust their hard-earned vacations and special events to me.

We spent all of 2016 completely rebuilding this historic house, constructed in 1900, into a modern and contemporary home full of luxurious character and charm. From inception to completion our plans included designating the entire second level as a fully enclosed and private vacation rental unit so that others may enjoy our marvelous city in luxurious style. Welcome to Nashville! If you need help getting around, facts and information, recommendations, or can't remember how to operate the coffeemaker, we're just downstairs so you're usually seconds away from needed assistance. Craving some privacy? With our smart keypad locks, we'll give you the code and other than a txt in case of questions you will have complete privacy during your time here.
