Conveniently located in Palmetto Dunes on the Robert Trent Jones Golf course

The Queens Grant complex is conveniently located in Palmetto Dunes on the Robert Trent Jones Golf course in Hilton Head Island. Short walk to the beach, tennis and golf and a short bike ride to Shelter Cove Marina.

This villa is on the ground floor and single level. The primary bedroom two queen beds with an HDTV. There is an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and has it's own en suite bathroom with tub/shower combination. The Kitchen is fully equipped with serving window to dining area and opens to living area. Dining table with seating for six opens to the living area. Living room has a sleeper sofa and leather sofa, TV/DVD/VCR player and slider opens to large deck with table and seating for four.

This vacation rental is pet-friendly between October 1 through March 31 for an additional charge. No pets are permitted between April 1 through September 30. Our pet policy only allows one dog per rental unit with a maximum weight of 40 pounds. Other restrictions may apply.

From the time we began with her it was just a matter of a few days until we had reserved our ground floor one story condo, a perfect situation for my wife and I and our dog. Cindy searched and found the one unit that matched our needs.The unit was clean and well stocked with kitchen and personal items. We really enjoyed the leather couch with electric recliners.We walked the beach with our dog, ate at our favorite restaurants, and just enjoyed two enjoyable weeks.We used the contactless check in which worked perfectly.It was simply a great experience and we’ve been part of Hilton Head for 25 years.Thanks again to Cindy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staff was rude. Accommodations were a joke. Toilet had a leak and cycled on every 20 minutes which kept me awake. I was told it would be corrected the following day. After four days of not being fixed I left. I will return to Hilton Head but will not be staying at Palmetto Dunes. I highly suggest staying somewhere else.

We immensely enjoyed the driving range, where a light dinner was delivered with a smile to our tee. Bikes were waiting for us before we even arrived. The underground passage to the marina was a big plus too. Our condo was gorgeous, very spacious, and well-equipped, although there was a dripping bathroom faucet, and we could have used more silverware-someone must have taken spoons and a few forks home with them. We had so many fun things to do that we didn't get to play pickle ball-maybe next time.

The location was great and the fact that it was “pet friendly” at that time of the year was very nice. The condo could use some updating (I was told about this before renting the unit). I had a maintenance issue with the refrigerator, but the maintenance folks were there very promptly and fixed the issue. Overall a fantastic stay in a terrific location. Palmetto Dunes has to be the best area on HHI!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is disgusting. The refrigerator ice maker had mold. There is visible mold in one of the closets. The back patio bricks are trip hazards. The place should not be on the rental market. It smells like mold. I brought my air filter that measures the Air Quality Index and when I saw the readings, I contacted the front desk to be moved.I have pictures of everything that I saw that needs repaired or replaced.My entire 1st and 2nd day of vacation was spent trying to get out of that unit. It was horrible.

Reviewer Comments: Excellent, easy check in process, no problem accessing unit (loved not having to carry keys), great location for tennis, pickleball, general store, swimming pool, beach, biking, etc.This would also be a great unit for someone that does not like stairs (ranch) and one of the bathrooms had a step in shower with installed handle (great for older people or someone recovering from surgery, etc.). The unit was spacious, porch and grill were great.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It could’ve been better. The condo smelled, the bathtub didn’t drain, the toilet was hard to flush and it ran all the time. We didn’t want to be bothered with maintenance while in our trip so we made do. There were stains on the rugs and even the bedspread which I found disgusting.

Location was central in the island. Not convenient to the beach

The property location was great for getting up and down the island. But it was not very convenient to the beach. There was little parking at the beach access and it was far to walk with our beach stuff. So glad we rented bikes. The property needs a facelift soon especially the carpet and a good cleaning of ceiling fans and baseboards.
