Couldn't ask for a more suitable property to stay at. It was perfect for my friends and family. Loved the fact so may beds were individuals and not bunks as we are all to old for that.

This home welcomes you! The owners showed they wanted you to enjoy your stay! Kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils and apparatus needed to satisfy! Beds comfortable, living room with movies available if wanted. Pool was just the right size for my family of 9 to enjoy! Vacation with children and grandchildren. All levels of living had outside tables and chairs for your enjoyment. Pool table was excellent and used much while we were there.

Super Fun stay

Our family stayed for a mothers day weekend with another family group and our pups. The house was clean and had everything we needed, bikes, pool, hot tub, full kitchen, All the things. The kids had a blast, we were a short 5 min drive to the beach with free parking. The home is centrally located to so many things. The hosts were great and quick to respond. We only wish our trip was longer. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! There were so many beautiful decks to hangout on with sun rooms off of the bedrooms. The beds and couches were comfortable to rest and lounge on. The extensive VHS collection was so nostalgic and fun! The pool area is gorgeous and even though it was chilly, we still took a dip, which was made even better by the hot tub so we could warm back up. The kitchen was huge and had plenty of room for us to cook group meals and hangout together. It was also super close to the beach and also very close to restaurants and bars, while also being tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. Truly, the best of both worlds! We didn’t get to use the bikes provided, but loved having the option, especially with so many cute little coffee shops close by. The best part was being able to bring our dog and see him experience the beach for the first time! It was great to have a hose right at the front door to get rid of sand from the beach. We can’t recommend enough!

Weekend at KDH

Great time at our KDH rental. The home was clean and spacious with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great and there was a fantastic view of the ocean from the crow's nest. Hosts were friendly and attentive. Would love to stay there again next year!!

Great for a family of 6-8

Place is not modern or updated but is very clean, organized and has everything you need to feel like your home away from home. Backyard is fenced so this is great when having a dog.The hosts are nice and professional as well.

Nice place

The online details were exactly how the house was. Crow's nest was great for watching sunsets. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard.

Everything was good except there is a serious ant problem that I was disappointed that the owner did not take care of. My grandchildren had ants on them and were terrified. I had ants in my car driving home They said they wanted to send Terminix out but never did. I told them ants were everywhere but no one came to spray etc. That put a damper on things.

Everything and More!

We have done several vrbo rentals and this was definitely in the top 3! We loved the pool table downstairs and the hot tub. Also a great view from the rooftop. The indoor patio was a great place for our morning coffee. It definitely felt like home away from home. It was so cozy and relaxing inside and out! We also loved how close it was to the beach. We had such a great time and are already planning our next stay!

Short stay

We rented this home short notice to attend our grandsons' All Star games in area. Owners answered any questions we had. Kids loved the pool and adults took turns in the hot tub. Kitchen well equiped and there was supplies of dish detergent, pods for dishwasher and started supply of paper towels, toilet paper. Beds made and towel sets. Instructions posted for wifi and other helpful hints for area. We were without internet and tv due to recent storm, but owner did do the best they could. We watch dvd and vhs that were in house. Plus actually socialized. It was restored the day we decided to leave. Enjoyed crows nest, nice breeze and a view of ocean.

Needs work

The stay was ok. The pool was nice. Some areas was to scary to walk on like balcony was going to give way. The house needs work. The chairs outside was old. One broke under my husband. It left a scar on him. The owner was nice they answered promptly to my messages. Just did not know house needed this much work.

Roomy house with all the amenities

Three grand kids, ages 8, 13 and 14 and two grand parents in their upper 70's, what more could we ask for? Not much except a few less stairs, but then we'd miss the views. We had exhausting, beach mornings and leisurely afternoons of pool time and the occasional dip in the hot tub. We cooked in, we ate out. We mini golfed and we watched a few inane movies on television. We played games at the dining table. The AC kept us cool and the quiet neighborhood and comfy beds made for an easy sleep. A few things need repair and some loving care, but it's a beach house, we're on vacation with our three grand kids. All is well.

Couple of glitches

The hot tub was not working and we were given instructions to fix it ourselves - which we chose not to do. The gas fireplace would not ignite after numerous attempts. The house was comfortable and the dogs loved the backyard.

Reynolds 2024 OBX

House was great. The pool wasn’t ready and the workmen showed up on or before 8 am each morning. As this was our vacation that was a bit annoying. Also, the beach wasn’t in walking distance. You have about a seven block walk across a five lane major highway. The proximity of the beach, easy access to the beach and a pool are really important and what we look for when booking. We were made aware that the pool wasn’t available on the Sunday before our trip…the workers showing up so early was just a painful reminder that we didn’t get to use the pool. And we had to pack up the car to get to a public access point Again great house and owners seemed nice enough. It would have been nice to not have had to worry about rather our car/truck needed to be moved. This WAS our vacation
