Long called "The Summer Place", this secluded retreat off the Kalamazoo River is IDEAL YEAR ROUND. The Summer Place is a short walk to downtown Saugatuck, filled with shops, galleries, restaurants and nightlife. Nearby is the spectacular Oval Beach. There could not be a better place to visit.

Your private studio cottage includes a queen bed, sitting area, cathedral ceiling, private deck, pull out couch (single), full bath (shower, no tub), wet bar with sink, refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV, WiFi, off-street parking, air conditioning, heat and ceiling fan (seasonal). DOGS WELCOME FOR ONE-TIME $75 FEE.

We love this little cottage. It’s just perfect for the two of us. We always get a warm greeting from the owner and the place has so many little amenities that make it welcoming and cozy. The short walk to town is perfect. Excellent in all ways.

The cottage was the perfect “overflow” accommodations for our family reunion. Great location, clean with lots of nice little touches (like home baked muffins!). Janet communicated all the check in information clearly and met us at the door the morning we checked in. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our first trip to Michigan! Very clean, quiet and we slept in every day so it was ideal for a relaxing week. We loved the restaurants, especially Malu for breakfast, Morro’s for pizza and Pennyroyal. Also unique shops and stores. We loved walking everywhere and it was safe and people were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Our host, Janet, was kind and helpful in every way.

We were so pleased with our stay! The place was super cute, the owner so kind and everything was SO CLEAN!!! There were lots of little touches that made you feel at home…muffins upon arrival, drinks in the mini fridge and everything you need to make tea and coffee. We would definitely stay there again!!!

The cottage is really close to everything in Saugatuck. The hosts were wonderful and had thought through the small things like having coffee, snacks, and water for guests. Really enjoyable stay!
