Rented to visit vets for scan

This property is nice inside and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom were a saviour as my dad has mobility issues but it is quite a while since it had a view as there have been many apartments built behind. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance if you are fit 5 mins drive if you are not ablet to walk. The outside space is nice but apart from 4 new sunbeds all the garden furniture is knackered with 2 chairs having 1 leg shorter than the other and the other 2 having torn seats, contacted the owner he didn’t give a monkeys About 60 sparrows come to roost every evening which is lovely apart from they poop all over the patio and garden furniture I have never spent so much time sweeping up on holiday all this villa needs is some love and attention

Not up to day standards wouldn’t stay again it needs a bit of work the beds was not very comfortable no pillows protect or mattress covers if you need air con you have to paid extra

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The villa is set in a lovely urbanisation which is well served by shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a pharmacy, vets and tobacco shop here. All are just 10 mins walk from the villa or two mins drive away. There is also a small enclosed dog walking area where you can let your pooches off the lead for a good run nearby. The villa was just as we expected and we enjoyed a fantastic month there. Any queries were quickly addressed by calling Andy who replied immediately. The surrounding area is full of orange and lemon groves and there are plenty of walks around the lanes and lake. We came in the winter and enjoyed everything. We would love to come again but next time in the summer when we can enjoy the private pool and solarium. Thank you Andy. Highly recommended

Nice Villa

Enjoyed 10 night rental of Casa George hired a car which I was glad about enabled us to get a little further afield. Communication with the owner was spot on everything was as described apart from no welcome pack but not a problem as arrived lunchtime and able to go to the supermarket for a big shop. Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing holiday local bars were just over a 10 minute stroll where food was excellent especially at Med bar and El bar thanks Andy Rolfe.

Not Luxury

The villa and furnishings where very tired and could do with an upgrade. there was no welcome pack so Andy gave us a10 euro air con card ( you have to use these for the air con to work) The tv/wifi didn't work for the first 3 days, when they came to repair it they said the socket had been damaged and we would have to pay the 20 euro bill, I informed Andy but never heard back. There are only 2 sun loungers by the pool, the information folder could do with updating, it mentions hiring a car but gives the prices for 2008! You will need a car its 50 euros in a taxi to the airport, apart from the twenty minute walk to the half a dozen bars on the urbanisation nothing else is in walking distance. In the 2 weeks we where there we never saw a cleaner and therefore had the same bedding and towels for the entire stay! On the plus side the neighbours where very friendly!

Nice location places to eat and drink within walking distance Sunday market 5 minutes walk. Property well laid out with a bedroom and bathroom on ground floor for people who can’t get up the stairs

Great location

Brilliant villa in excellent location, quiet & close to amenities, Andy was very helpful at a stressful time, (coronavirus) Spain had just started its lockdown, so we had to cut our holiday short! If we ever go back to Spain this is the place we would go, great for our dog too, thanks Andy

ENJOYED STAYING AT CASA GEORGE

We had a great week at the villa. The beginning of the week we had lovely weather and visited Lemon Tree Market on Sunday morning. A must as we were able to get a lot of supplies for the week. Best market we have ever been to. On the Wednesday we had the storms start and they kept up for the rest of the week. The storms everyone must have heard about!! Worst on record. The shops and restaurants are a good 15 to 20 minutes walk at a reasonable pace. We would have enjoyed the visit much better if we had had a car. Went to Guardamar beach by bus; lovely beach with plenty of restaurants along the front. Too far to walk. I do feel that a car is essential to get the full benefit of this villa.

Lovely house Will Go again

Our holiday was wonderful The property is very well kept and has every thing you need to enjoy your stay The pool is just the right size for swimming as well and just cooling down in a hot day The area is beautiful and the Lemon tree market is fabulous (Sunday’s) There is plenty to do in the area and the restaurant’s near by have some great menus I would highly recommend this property and Andy who owns the property is extremely good at replying to messages We will definitely book again

El Roso Villa Casa De George

This Villa is lovely it has three bedrooms it’s own pool and close to the bars and restaurants. The villa is very clean and tidy and well maintained. The people are very friendly and helpful you do not need to speak Spanish in the local bars. If your not sure about anything the owner is only a phone call or text away. The nabours are friendly and helpful and can tell you places to visit etc. I would highly recommend visiting this lovely area. I have already book to return.

Relaxing break

We were a family of 4 staying at casa de George. 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 years and 11 months. The area is very quiet. It took us a few days to get use to as we normally do all inclusive holidays where there is lots of entertainment and noise!! We often went all day without seeing anyone until we walked down to the bars on a night. The villa is suitauted a good 15 minute walk away from a few bars a small supermarket. The villa has everything you need to live comfortably for a week and the inside of the villa is very clean. We made the mistake of not hiring a car but a car is essential. Andy was very helpful and spoke to a neighbour who agreed to take us to the next town and the safari park for a few euros. Overall it was a very relaxing holiday and we would book again but this time hiring a car and taking friends/family out with us.

Lovely villa - shame about the building nearby

Villa well located and potentially quiet, being one of a quad. Unfortunately, just a block behind is a major building project with 6 high-rise cranes clearly in view from the solarium. Building noise is not unduly intrusive indoors, but the weather was suitable to sit outside and this was impossible if one wanted some peace. Builders work from dawn to dusk 6 days a week, so best to check on the progress - my guess is that they won'rt be clear of the area near Casa de George for 2 months at least.

A home from home

Casadegeorge is a real home from home and a taste if expat living in Spain The house had every mid con you needed and some. Located closer excellent street markets at Last Nara and Lemon Tree market in El Raso itself. There are great bars and restaurants only 5 minutes away. If you're looking for no complications, great sun and beaches then Casadegeorge is the answer.. The Face family

Our time in El Raso

We had a very relaxing enjoyable week staying in Casa De George, El Raso. The Villa was spacious, well equipped and homely. The roof terrace was perfect for sunbathing, as was the pool area with sun loungers and bbq. Although we ate out most of the time, there is a small supermarket and bazar on the complex which supplies all basic groceries, beers and wines. We had breakfast on the balcony most days, which had very nice views over the lemon groves. We did not have a car, but it was only a 10 minute walk to the local pubs and restaurants, which all served very nice food and had a welcoming atmosphere. We took the local bus to the nearby beach of Guardamar, only 85 cents each. Although the bus didn’t run regularly, the times were perfect for a full day at the beach. We took taxis to Torrevieja, which has lovely small cove beaches, a pleasant promenade, bars, restaurants and night market. Although it was the beginning of October the weather was fantastic, sun every day, (24 to 27 degrees) and warm in the evenings. A very enjoyable stay. Alan and Kath

Amazing, clean tidy beautiful views fantastic area

The property was loverly and clean! It’s huge just like a home from Home! Everything worked like it should do! The roof terrace perfect for sunbathing! And the views are great if you just want to enjoy them! The area is so peaceful and it’s just a short walk from many amazing restaurants and a local shop for essentials! On top of that it’s just a 5 min drive from an amazing quiet little beach with a little beach bar that serves good reasonably priced snacks and a15 min drive from a huge supermarket where you can get everything from milk-car tyres! There’s a double bed (very comfy) and 4x singles with 1 bedroom on the ground floor with a shower room right next to it! Perfect for my mum who is partially disabled! Stair gate and travel cot for the little ones so it really is a perfect holiday villas in an amazing area! Thank you so much for the amazing experience!! We have already booked our next stay Be quick as the weeks get booked up really quickly
