With beautiful landscaping and a fenced yard for pets, this family-friendly home is perfect for long stays, remote work, and time in nature.
The home is light and airy, blending classic charm with a clean, minimalist design. The open layout includes a living room with large windows, Smart TV and white oak hardwood floors. A separate dining area offers space to gather for shared meals or to enjoy a family game night.
The brand new kitchen features marble countertops, fireclay tile floors and stainless steel appliances. It’s fully stocked for home cooking, with a layout designed for easy prep. The sunroom overlooks the backyard, a favorite spot for morning coffee, reading, or watching kids play.
Upstairs, the private master suite includes a queen bed, half bath, walk-in cedar closet, and a home office. The second and third downstairs bedrooms offer king and queen sized beds with dressers, blackout curtains, and individual climate controls.
Outside, the landscaped gardens create a peaceful backdrop for afternoon BBQ's or evening dinners. A secure, black picket fence makes the backyard perfect for pets and kids, and the garden shed offers extra storage for bikes or gear. The bathroom includes a bathtub, and the laundry room has modern, full-size machines. Plenty of free street parking is always available out front.
Bryan Park offers soccer fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and picturesque walking paths just a block away. Our quiet, safe neighborhood has sidewalks, tall trees, and friendly families, with kids often playing outside.

About the host
Hosted by Carolyn Crone

Architect / Designer / Urban Dweller. I have a family of four, my husband and 2 small children (3 and 5 years old). We love to travel to new places and immerse ourselves in local culture! Our favorite past times are going to the beach, the pool, playing pool and hanging out with family. We recently received "yard of the month" at our home on Wedgewood Ave! I run my own architectural design business and love to decorate homes as well.
Why they chose this property
We're tucked into a quiet, residential pocket just off Lakeside Avenue and Hermitage Road—close to everything, but still peaceful and neighborly. This is the kind of neighborhood where people wave hello, kids play out front, and everything you need is a short walk or drive away. It’s safe and full of charm.
Walk to Roy’s Big Burger, grab pet supplies at Fin & Feather, or stop by the dry cleaner on your way back from the RVA Big Market, the farmers market in Bryan Park which sets up on weekends. Whether you're headed out for errands or a stroll, everything you need is close and many great places are in walking distance.
Just a short drive away, you’ll find a mix of local favorites and Richmond staples. Check out Hobnob, Revel Market & Bar, RVA Antiques, or Lakeside’s own SB’s Loveshack for breakfast or brunch. For bigger outings, Libbie Mill is just five minutes away and has a public library, playground, sandwich shops, and a Starbucks. Scott’s Addition, Carytown, and the Fan are all within a 10–12 minute drive, giving you easy access to the best of RVA.
