Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you have pets please make sure you sweep up any excess dog hair and pick up any dog poop outside.
Enjoying days at the beach is encouraged in Galveston but if that has resulted in excess sand inside please could you could sweep up. There is an outdoor shower that you can use to rinse off.
If you do use the grill please clean off and cover so it is ready for the next guest to use. Beach equipment should be hosed off before packing away.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Originally from England, I’ve lived in the USA for over 25 years and have been in the DFW area since 2020. The beach is my happy place, so I spent time searching for a spot within driving distance. That’s when I discovered Galveston and fell in love with the island. Now, I own my little piece of paradise and am thrilled to share it with families so they can create their own cherished memories.
Why they chose this property
I love the location of my house—it's within walking distance to the beach, the strand area, restaurants, and all the historic houses, yet on a quiet street where you can truly relax. It feels like it has the best of everything.
What makes this property unique
I put a lot of thought into furnishing my property, prioritizing comfort above all. My outdoor living space stands out with its large deck, perfect for soaking up the sun and dining, and a covered patio below featuring a bar and games. Even on a rainy day, you can still enjoy being outside.
