If you've been wanting to reminisce with family or friends and stay close to all the happenings in Galveston this is the place for you! Maybe you are wanting to spend a few days enjoying Galveston before or after your cruise, we are located perfectly!

This spacious newly renovated apartment is the perfect place located near the shopping Strand, Historic District and Pleasure Pier to enjoy the downtown hot spots, restaurants, bars, shopping, antiquing and the historical sites with family or best buds. Trolley stops outside for easy trips to either the Strand or the Beach!

We are only 5 blocks to The Grand 1984 Opera House! Within a leisurely 10 min walk to the Post Office District and the Strand. Your walk will take you by the St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica, and the Galveston County Historical Museum.

Walk or pedal your bicycles and enjoy viewing the beautiful historic district with its Victorian period historic homes. Which will be a great treat! Plenty of restaurants, local taverns and bars for a romantic evening walk and relaxation

Inclement weather? then take the city Trolley that stops outside the building to enjoy the city sites.

The beach is eight blocks south and while on your leisure walk or driving to the Seawall beach be sure and stop at the renown Bryan Museum or visit the historical Grand Galvez Hotel which is also located on our street at the Seawall. Enjoy the beach directly in front of the Grand Galvez Hotel.

Adjacent to our apartment is "Escape the Island"! Challenge each other's wits to try and find your way out of an escape room!

Pho 21 and Domino's Pizza are located across the street. Rudy and Paco Restaurant and other eating establishments are only 5 blocks as you walk towards the Post Office District and the Strand for even more shopping and antiquing. Finding parking can be difficult so00 No reason to pay for parking when you can easily walk to the historical District!

One block walk will take you to a golf cart or carriage car rental which will be fun while touring the historical sites and viewing the historical homes!

Enjoy the beach one day and the harbor on another since both are close by and you are in the middle of it all!

This newly renovated apartment provides a luxurious stay with all appliances, beds, sofas, chairs, and more being new! Retreat in the evenings to your own king-size bed accompanied by a Roku smart TV for streaming enjoyment!

If you're in search of a luxurious island retreat with plenty of room for you, your partner, family or friends, this place is ideal!

Relish the comfort of sleeping in a comfortable king-size bed in each of our 3 spacious bedrooms. Convene in the kitchen in the mornings to enjoy a cup of coffee while you prepare a homemade breakfast! Doesn't get much better than that for a wonderful family stay!

Property was the perfect setup and location for our group. We came to Galveston for two different concerts and this location was in walking distance to both venues. The property itself was exactly as pictured and it had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

We stayed to be within walking distant to Dickens on the Strand. Very good location. Nice, clean, and large rooms. The only drawback we had was the distance to the front door and no inside deadbolt lock. If someone would have came in the front door we could not have heard them at night.

Wonderful apartment in a great central location! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We loved the large kitchen area for meals and playing card games. The onsite parking was also really convenient. Definitely recommend!

Unexpectedly, the unit was located upstairs in a commercial building. We had parking right at the door. Communication was great. The Unit was located near the ports, historic district, pier entertainment and food. (not walking distance unless you are a seasoned walker.) The unit was spacious and beautifully designed and decorated. We loved the fact there were three bedrooms containing a large bed in each room. There was also a nice daybed located in the living room area for naps during the football games! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Best Kept Secret

The pictures doesn’t do justice. This property is well kept and exceeded our expectations. The location is centralized to everything to everything (shopping, attractions, restaurants). Will definitely have a repeated booking my next time in Galveston.

Hidden gem

We enjoyed our stay very much. This place has everything we needed. You can see the owners take pride in caring for their place as you enter the apartment. Detailed instructions were given in advance of our stay to help us prepare for our trip which shows they care about their guests too. This place is clean, cool and comfortable. Short walking distance to boutiques, restaurants, art galleries, coffee shops, and a short drive to the beach. We enjoyed coffee each morning at Mod Coffee. Highly recommend people stay here.

Best Place Ever

The unit was lovely and had everything we needed. It was located on the Strand, just blocks from all the best shopping, and 8 blocks from the beach. The owner, Yolanda was awesome and replied promptly to any questions we had. Definitely want to go there again.

We were a total of 8 guests and all had an awesome stay. The place was very well kept and had lots of amenities. What was especially important for us was the kitchen; we were able to comfortably cook our meals every day for our entire stay.

Close to the Strand

Came for Dickens on the Strand very convenient to the Strand. Place was clean and had all amenities needed. Like that it had three king beds. Bathrooms were good size! Great parking and easy entry to upstairs apartment.

I began hosting in Galveston in 2008, coinciding with the year Hurricane Ike wrought devastation upon the island. The sense of loss and shock at the destruction was indescribable. Thanks to the efforts of countless volunteers nationwide, we were able to rebuild the island. My affection for this enchanting island and its beaches grew from this experience. Our latest project is this suite, and it fills us with pride. After two years of remodeling, we're thrilled to share it with others. Our other properties have also seen great success, and we always look forward to welcoming back returning guests. Some I know only by name and have never met, yet I feel a strong connection to them and their families. Hosting families who cherish our homes as their own brings us immense joy.

We are immensely thankful for the blessing of abundance and the opportunity to share our spaces with others.

The gratification that comes from hosting strangers is profound, particularly when they leave notes expressing how much they enjoyed their stay.

We think our apartment is well suited for couples who want to enjoy a quick trip to the heart of Galveston and all its festivities. No reason to take a Huber drive after an enjoyable evening on the town! You can easily and safely walk back!
