Disappointed

The condo wasn’t very clean at all. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way without scratching up floor. The microwave was absolutely filthy. We went to get some dishes out of the cabinet and they were very dirty. They hadn’t even been washed. No beach towels so I’m glad I brought my own. I’ve stayed at SSR for many years and this was the first time I’ve had a dirty unit.

Great time on Captiva

Our fist visit to Captiva. Enjoyed it very much. Condo was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. The view from the lanai was lovely. Very close to the beach and several restaurants. The only downside was not being able to experience the resort. Would help to tell your guests that is not available in the description.

Perfect Captiva Location

Condo was nice, clean, and in an excellent location on Captiva. Very close to restaurants and shops and a short stroll from the beach. No laundry in unit, but there is a coin laundry on ground level. Screened in porch was spacious and overlooks a beautiful garden area. The grilling area is beautiful! Plenty of grills, dining size tables, beautiful pergola overtop. Need extra linens - just call! Beach towels - just call! Very convenient! Unit itself needs a little updating but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there!

As advertised

The one bedroom unit we rented was as advertised It had a nice garden view. The furnishings were comfortable. The units internet was down when we checked in and it took 3 days to fix. South Seas resorts cable is terrible and I needed the internet to use my roku.

Fantastic Retreat

We had an amazing week at this property. It is cozy and comfortable. The location is ideal with just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed dining at Doc Ford's almost every day.

Very relaxing!

South Seas Resort is very clean and well taken care of. No one bothered us. It was a slow week according to locals so everything was easily accessible. The condo was clean, had nice decor, comfortable bed and had just enough for my wife and I to stay for a week. The downside was the Red Tide problem which has nothing to do with the resort. The beach was smelly some days. Other days it was cleaned up for the most part. We definitely will return.

South Seas Tennis Villa 3111

Villa is great for 2 people. The kitchen could have been better equipped with more cooking utensils and cookware as we made many of our own meals at the Villa. Also, the dishwasher needs to be either replaced or serviced, as when set properly, it ran over 2 hours & never dried the dishes nor cleaned them well. Bathroom (shower & toilet area) very small. Great location, close to downtown Captiva, easy walk to the beach. Pool was great & convenient. Laundry facilities worked well.
