It was a lovely, well cleaned apartment. Host was communicative. There were no blankets for the pull out couch - which was needed. I also suggest you put a blow dryer in it or at least let guests know there isn’t one.

We have stayed at Sundial many times but this is the first time we stayed in a one bedroom unit. It was very small, looked like it had a balcony but didn't, floors felt sticky, no mat in the kitchen, no pillow cases for second pillow the bathroom needs an upgrade. The tub was old and stained and tiny. We went and had dinner with our daughter and her family in a two bedroom and the difference was amazing. Definitely worth the difference in price to upgrade to get the balcony and the room. I wish I had known. The pictures are deceiving.

We booked 5 nights in your condo. After an hour flight and an hour drive we get to our condo and there is no toilet paper in the bathroom. We also had no trash bags for the kitchen or hand soap for the bathroom. We left voicemails and text messages asking where the laundry facility is in the complex because there were not any directions to where the trash or laundry is so when we finally reached someone she was not even at our complex… she had to look up our complex and see where the laundry room was. When we finally found a washer and dryer, the laundry powder that we found in the room was not even what was posted to use in the washer. None of the amenities that was listed were not included such as toilet paper, coffee, coffee filters, or k-cups. A blow dryer would have been nice to have. We were just very unhappy with the amenities in the condo.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, from the title of the room I was hoping to see the gulf from our room, wasn’t the case. Remax had given us the wrong keys when we got there and had to wait 30 min for the right ones without an apology for giving us the wrong keys, but instead was accused on the phone when I called that we didn’t know how to open the door correctly because the lock is used to open it and it can be hard to turn...then to find out they were the wrong keys was very fraustrating. The room was clean and nice. Carpeting in bedroom however needs to be replaced badly. We love the island Sanibel and Sundial was centrally located to where we wanted to go. Do not use the island pool because you will be kicked out like us for not being members (which I didn’t know you had to be members to use it, no one had informed us) even though we bought drinks and food there. I can honestly say I have never been kicked out of anywhere prior to this occurrence and was really embarrassed. Overall, sundial is a nice place to stay, however with all our problems I won’t be returning.

Construction Dust Bowl

Building D is one of many on the Sundial property undergoing renovation after hurricane Ian. Unlike several others, it is absolutely not in condition to accept guests and the listing comment minimizing construction does not represent the situation on the ground. This rental is utterly misrepresented. Beach access requires passing through a paid pool area; much of the traditional beach access is fenced off. It is not "steps away". The community pool adjacent to the unit is under construction. The unit lacked 'starter kit' amenities (coffee, etc). The kitchen outlets were nonfunctional and the kitchen sink is a rust bucket. Multiple stains on the bedroom carpet. The 'ocean breezes from the large picture sliding window' overlooked latrines and a construction dust bowl. The bathroom hot water faucet did not run. I could go on.We called immediately upon check-in and the host dismissed our concerns. Thereafter, they did not respond to email requests.The pile-on fees were exorbitant. I am happy to share invoices.We left after a single miserable night and would like to be compensated for this disgraceful experience. We are certainly hoping that others read this review and don't find themselves in a similar position.

Sanibel condo

My husband had a back issue and we had to leave early which was disappointing. We left our hair dryer there and the leasing company was kind enough to ship it back to us. Great place.

Relaxing Vacation

Very comfortable one bedroom condo but kitchen is small. Needed to stand on a step stool to reach the plates which were stored over the refrigerator. Lovely pool. Easy stroll to the beach.

Time for being outside

The condo was nice, but could use some updating Kitchen was so small, we needed a stool to reach the dishes in cabinet above the fridge. Wish there had been a lanai area to use as some other places had.

Wonderful Condo

The condo was clean, very nicely furnished, and provided amenities for the beach, i.e. chairs and an umbrella which we used every day. There are elevators, so we didn't have to carry our luggage up the stairs.

Loved the accommodations

Very nice with everything we needed for the week. The foldout couch was comfortable but the mechanism could use some repair. Excellent value for the price and great location.

Always a treat!

We've become big fans of Sundial over the years -- nice combination of amenities and value. There's nothing like being able to start the day with a walk along the beautiful beach, then coming back to the unit to make some breakfast before hitting the pool, touring, or shopping. This unit was nice and spacious, well-equipped and comfortable.

Nice clean apartment

Place was spotless. The property was nice and quiet. There was an elevator--important for the 3rd floor. You can see the water from the living room by looking to the left. I realized I really missed having a balcony or lanai. TV in living room worked; the one in the bedroom had no signal. Bathtub drained very slowly. Tub has no grab bar or rubber mat. This is a slip and fall hazard, and should be easy to remedy. Wifi signal was strong and easy to connect to. Overall very nice stay.
