The location is easily this property's biggest selling point. Situated directly in the Paseo Arts District, we could walk to restaurants and shops. Parking was always available, though unmarked spaces made it possible to get blocked in. The security light for the parking area and entrance was out.The older building was generally maintained, and the kitchen was nicely updated, but the rest felt mid-renovation, with layers of old paint around trim. The apartment was generally clean, yet dusty in corners and storage areas; even painter's tape remained on a grimy baseboard. The bathroom was the biggest drawback: extremely cramped, with my knees touching the shower curtain and shoulder against the wall when using the small toilet. The tub needed refinishing, counter space was minimal, and there were no towel hooks. The sliding barn door had no lock or inside handle. Hand soap was empty, and despite several full-size shampoos and conditioners, there was no body soap. There was hanging space but no dresser or luggage rack. The TV cabinet and top of the fridge could have provided additional storage, but both were dusty. The bed was genuinely comfortable, with a nice balance of softness and support, though the bedding was warm for hot sleepers and pillows slipped behind the bed without a proper headboard.Overall, the location, bed, and kitchen were positives, but cleaning, maintenance, and basic guest conveniences need more attention.
