The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and every room had stunning ocean views. Alisa was easy to communicate and extremely responsive. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking and spending time together as a family so enjoyable. They truly thought of every detail especially for coffee lovers! The home included a drip coffee maker, espresso machine, Keurig, and even a French press, which was such a nice touch.We also appreciated all of the thoughtful amenities provided, including beach chairs, towels, and a kayak. The home was comfortable, relaxing, and perfect for making memories together. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for an elevated beachfront getaway we would absolutely stay here again!

Where Solitude meets Opulence! My family and I enjoyed our relaxing week at your beautiful beach home! Our accommodations exceeded expectations! The house was spotless and the kitchen was beautiful. Having an elevator was very helpful. All the bathroom were spacious and comfortable. My only suggestions would be to add a chair in the bedrooms, and chair cushions to the dining chairs. We loved our stay and will return next year.

This house was a beautiful, roomy house that we rented to go on a vacation together. Six adults and three children. The elevator was a plus. We saw a lot of gnats in the kitchen from the time we first got there, but that might be typical of a beach home. The only issue that bothered us happened after we had left the house. On the way home, the cleaners had told the host we had a dog with us and sent the host some videos pointing out dog hair and human hair in a few rooms. They also sent a video of the back door and said it was dog nose prints all over the door. I was asked if we brought a dog, and I said no, because we didn't. We had a 24 month old and a 25 month old with us. It was their smudges on the door. One of the families with us has dog (she was being boarded) but apparently its hair was on some clothing they had, getting it in the house. The property was listed as no pets allowed, which we did not bring any pets. I would suggest this house be listed differently to suggest if you have pets at home, not to rent this house since the host's spouse has severe allergies. The original agreement charged a large cleaning fee, but had that reference been made, we would have looked at other properties and saved us from paying extra cleaning fees at this house.

Regarding your comments about the cleaning fee, I do want to clarify that this home is specifically listed as not pet-friendly in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for all guests—particularly because it is an oceanfront property. After your departure, our cleaning team found a significant amount of dog hair throughout multiple rooms and surfaces—well beyond what could reasonably be attributed to pet hair carried in on clothing. There were also visible smudge marks consistent with a dog’s nose on the back door, which required additional deep cleaning to restore the home to our usual standards. The additional cleaning charge was not a reflection of your overall stay but rather a necessary step to ensure the property remains allergen-free for future guests. I appreciate your understanding and am glad to know that aside from this issue, you and your family had a pleasant experience and enjoyed your time at the beach.

We’ve been coming to Topsail Island every other summer for 30 years. This was by far the best place we’ve ever rented. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable- we loved it!!
