Downstairs portion smelled of mildew. Got a sore throat the first night stay and had to stay upstairs the rest of the week with a cough. Paid 2k to only stay in half the house. The owner will also enter the house without letting you know and possibly stay in the house with you. Must have knowledge on how to fix their dehumidifier as it doesn’t work properly and had to clean the mold out of it. Got a 100 refund. Thanks. View was nice though. Waste of a vacation.

On Marlana's second day at Loon View, she asked what to do with trash, instructions for which are in the house rules, which was clearly not reviewed. I immediately called Marlana who also reported a “damp odor downstairs.” I asked that Marlana re-start the dehumidifier. She did so during our call. After re-starting, the Clean Filter light came on. Marlana then spent less than 10 minutes cleaning the filter. I refunded Marlana $100 for that inconvenience. Marlana, indicated that she, her son and father would complete their stay in the upstairs unit. (3 beds for the 3 of them) I attempted to check in with Marlana to see how things were going but got no response. Two days later, Marlana wrote she was “noticing a mildew smell when I went to the downstairs unit to get one of my items.” After confirming guests were not in the unit, I inspected the unit finding no hint of dampness. The dehumidifier was running fine. Use of the downstairs unit by the renters was evident. All of this is documented in VRBO correspondence. It is our goal to provide a comfortable, safe and stress-free environment for guests. We do our best to address any issues, big or small, in as timely and unobtrusive manner as possible. Marlana's family completed their entire rental period using upstairs and downstairs for the duration. Our goal is always to earn a 10/10 guest experience. This unfortunate experience is unprecedented in years of managing Loon View. We strongly encourage everyone to read house rules!

It was a very beautiful house , nicely set up inside with lots of room for the kids to run and a deck off the back that’s closed in so we didn’t have to worry about the kids going near the road.

House was great! Donald was very accommodating, we asked for closest snowmobile trail access and he replied promptly with directions. Trails are very accessible and close to Buck Rub and 1840!! Highly recommend. Thank you.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Don’s cabin! It is truly gorgeous and hands down the nicest cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the space felt warm and welcoming the moment we arrived.The cabin was extremely well stocked with an ample amount of everything you could possibly need for any stay—from the kitchen to everyday essentials—which made our trip so comfortable and stress-free. You can tell a lot of care and thought went into every detail.We loved our time here and would 100% stay again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, beautiful, and relaxing getaway!

We arrived a little early and were able to get into the house. Communication was great. Great view of the lake and mountains. I would recommend this house to anyone. We will definitely book again in the future.

There’s lots to do up in Pittsburg for the outdoor enthusiast. This property is in a convenient location, and within a beautiful setting! We saw various birds, including loons and hummingbirds from this location. The house had everything we needed!
