Recently refurbished, this 1893 historical cottage offers guests plenty of space for visiting the Art Coast. The home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a generous sized yard on the “hill” in Saugatuck. It is just outside of city limits, is an approximately 15 minute walk to downtown and provides quick access to the Blue Star Trail. It is also less than a half a mile to Ivy House wedding and event venue. This adorable and charming cottage offers a wonderful space for creating memories with friends and family.

A one mile drive across the Kalamazoo River will take you to Douglas, Michigan which has additional shopping, art galleries and dining options. If a beach day is on your vacation wish list, you will find beautiful Oval Beach is 3 miles northwest.

Driveway parking is available for our guests. Additionally, The Saugatuck Interurban is available and is a demand response public bus system that offers transportation throughout Saugatuck, Douglas and Saugatuck Township.

We welcome your furry friends during your stay. Our pet-friendly policy includes a $150 pet fee. This fee covers the necessary cleaning and amenities to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests. *please note for pets that the backyard is not fenced in and pets must be monitored at all times.

This was a great stay and highly recommend! Very clean, spacious and charming. It was a little farther out of town than expected but still walkable. As some others have mentioned, there is a pretty step hill just before you get into town. Would stay again.

Well designed and updated house that provided a clean and comfortable setting for our family getaway. Ample space for hanging out with our kids: spacious kitchen for food prep, dinning room for games and meals, front porch for relaxing, and large yard for grilling. Owners thoughtfully stocked it with the essentials. Just a five block walk to the heart of Saugatuck which we did multiple times/day. We all agreed that we would come back to this property.

This property is truly charming and beautiful; simply a sanctuary! It has plenty of space and we appreciated the extra towels! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. All features were perfect and worked amazing (HVAC, laundry, hot water etc) The down town is a 15-20 minute walk with a big hill. This was a very unique situation to us since we were celebrating an 80th birthday that made that walk just a bit unattainable more than once a day. I didn’t gather that from the listing or the other reviews so sharing if anyone is in a very specific situation with limitations like that. Stow Vacations was so thoughtful and kind in their very fast responses on our communication.
