Deltaville, Virginia is a laid-back coastal town in Middlesex County ("the Middle Peninsula)" situated where the Rappahannock and York Rivers lead out to the Chesapeake Bay. Known as the “Boating Capital of the Chesapeake,” it’s a paradise for water lovers—perfect for sailing, kayaking, crabbing, and fishing. Other close by Middle Peninsula towns to explore include Gloucester (great arts community and home to the Daffodil Festival), Urbanna (home to the wildly popular Urbanna Oyster Fest in early November), Mathews, and Gwynn Island.
