Escape to your own private waterfront retreat—where mornings start with coffee in the sunroom and evenings end around the fire pit. With a private dock, spacious layout, and plenty of ways to unwind or play, this home is designed for easy, memorable riverfront living.

Driveway & Shed

A gravel driveway to the right of the home provides parking for up to 4 vehicles. The nearby shed houses kayaks, paddleboards, life vests, and a variety of outdoor gear—everything you need for a day on the water.

Private Patio

Relax on the private patio overlooking the river, complete with an outdoor dining table, comfortable seating area, and fire pit—perfect for sunset conversations or roasting marshmallows under the stars.

Dock

Follow the lighted pathway down to your private dock, equipped with a marine-grade fishing light and a picnic table for riverside lounging, fishing, or enjoying the view.

A bright and spacious sunroom welcomes you with a sofa, two chairs, coffee table, and TV, plus a large table for dining, puzzles, games, or work.

This property is beautifully situated on a picturesque creek. We enjoyed mornings and evenings kayaking and sitting by the fire pit on the back patio. The house was tatefully decorated and well stocked. The king size bed in the primary suite was sooooo comfortable. Its the ideal location for a peaceful river getaway. The host was super responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely rent here again

Gorgeous home with a beautiful view! Very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable! We spent a lot of time on the dock and took the kayaks out on the water too! Great location! The host was very responsive to any questions we had! The guidebook for the property and surrounding area was very useful as well! We would love to come back again!

Wonderful location for a quiet getaway

This is a well-appointed house in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed kayaks another outdoor activities provided by the hosts. We didn't have a cell signal but the high-speed internet worked great and we were able to do Wi-Fi calling with no problems. Communication with the host was outstanding and they really strive to ensure that guests have a comfortable stay.

This was the perfect find for our Mom’s get away weekend. We set out in hopes of finding a waterfront property, quiet area, at a reasonable price to sleep 4 comfortably. This home met every mark. Perfect for cooking together, meals at one table, plenty of comfortable reading spots, and late night games. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked kitchen before, this was a huge perk. Will return to this property in the future!

Well needed get away.

Property is really great. Lots to do even on rainy days. We fished, kayaked and even played a few board games. We could do as much as we wanted or just relax and watch the Creek go by. Super enjoyable time was had by all!

Fantastic!

Beautiful home with great amenities. The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the dock, kayaks and much more. An evening on the dock watching the stars by the water was gorgeous. The host was excellent and immediately responsive.

Relaxing Retreat!

This house was such a hidden gem that was perfect for a nice weekend away from reality! The location felt tucked away and quiet, and the view of the river from the sunroom/dining room was lovely and relaxing. We actually spent most of our time in that space doing a puzzle on the coffee table while drinking coffee...perfection! The house was clean and well decorated, and the contact provided was quick to respond when we asked how to use the gas logs in the living room. My 10 and 12 year old kids were comfy and had lots of space to themselves upstairs (something to note: the twin and king beds are soft foam mattresses...so if you're used to a firm bed, now you know). We only stayed the weekend, but there were plenty of options for food within a 10-30 min drive. There was a great donut shop with coffee and breakfast sandwiches, an ice cream shop, and a lovely bookstore in Kilmarnock. Overall, my only regret was that it wasn't warmer outside when we visited. We would have loved to use more of the outdoor amenities.

A Hidden Gem

Beautiful property with lots of amenities the whole family can enjoy. The house is very clean, spacious with comfortable beds and full kitchen. The sun room was our favorite where we spent a lot of time playing games, reading and just relaxing with a glass of wine at night. The paddle boards and kayaks was a big plus. We love anything to do with water related activities and we used them paddling around Sturgeon Creek. The host also provided crab traps that we used on their private dock where we caught plenty of crabs that we steamed for dinner and also caught an assortment of fish. We also spent a lot of time in the back deck where we built a fire every night in the fire pit where our son enjoyed making smores. Also, during the day, there is plenty of wildlife to observe. Chris Armstrong is an amazing host. anytime I had questions, he answers me back right away. He will also provide anything that you might need during your stay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place, quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated.The owners were very accommodating and checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. The place was very well equipped with everything you needed. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

I'm not sure we can say enough good things about this little gem by the water.The cottage was furnished beautifully and comfortable for everyone. The dock and water views were an added bonus.
