For nylig renoveret strandhytte med de nyeste faciliteter. Rolig enhed på andet niveau med separat adgang og separate dæk. Nyt i efteråret 2017 alle møbler, strøelse, opvaskemaskiner, apparater, udemøbler, udendørs gasgrill med mere. To parkeringspladser udenfor gaden. Enorm græsplæne med udsigt over Morris Island fyrtårn på en naturskøn bæk / myr for større funktioner. På tværs af gaden fra stranden med udsigt til stranden og to huse ned fra den offentlige adgang til stranden med ADA-rampe.

I have never stayed at a cleaner, more comfortable, well appointed accommodation. We lacked for nothing. All the comforts of home.

We’ll be back

Stayed at Salt and Sol for 4 nights and it was wonderful, and just as described. Clean (a must since I have a crawling baby), lots of attention to detail, comfortable beds, and probably the best was easy and quick communication with John who attended to a couple things quickly and was kind and easy going. The location is great, much quieter than staying close to the center of town. We saw sunsets on the back deck and could see the ocean from the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Favorite on Folly

This my favorite place to stay on Folly! John is a great host and the house is amazing ... well appointed, equipped with everything you need for an amazing getaway!

Beautiful Folly Beach house

Definitely one the most comfortable, clean and well stocked homes we have ever stayed in! John was very accommodating and so quick to address any questions or concerns we had during our stay.

Anniversary Trip to End Summer

We had a great week at Folly. This cottage is one of the nicest places we have stayed in during our years going to Folly Beach. We would, and already have, recommended this property. The marsh and sunset views were spectacular and the hosts have thought of everything. John and Jean are also great hosts and are very responsive to any questions or needs that may come up. Also, since they are in the ground floor unit, they are always on top of everything while being nearly invisible

Great Property

Graduation Weekend

After a LONG 14 hour drive we walked into the most relaxing house with champagne waiting for us in the refrigerator. Although it was a long trip the sound of the waves from the front porch and the beautiful sunrise from the back deck made it worth the drive. Our daughter graduated from College of Charleston and she was able to come and relax before and after the ceremony with us. The house had everything you could ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices and all the pots and pans and extras that I have never had at another VRBO. The house was spotless when we came in and the decor made it feel very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property as well as the hosts as they were very quick to respond to my questions.

So Relaxing

We just returned from a glorious 2 weeks at Salt & Sol. We've been to Folly many times staying at many different properties but this is our new favorite. So much thought has gone into making Salt & Sol a beautiful, well-equipped place for restoration and relaxation. Hearing the roar of the surf from the front deck, watching the plethora of birds on the marsh and sleeping in the very cheerful, comfortable master were all delights! Thanks John, Jean & Duke for being fabulous hosts!

I have rented many properties through VBRO and this is one of the very best by far! The house is comfortable, clean, and updated in every way. Attention to detail is seen from the fully equipped kitchen (spices, cookware, plates, glassware, even ziplock bags and aluminum foil!), to nice towels, laundry detergent, hand soap, and the list goes on!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay on Folly Beach!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay special, providing beach chairs to the family. We loved hearing the ocean on one side and looking at the peaceful marsh in the backyard. The house was also located in a quiet area of the island, which we really enjoyed. The beach was a few steps away. We would definitely stay there again!

Folly Beach

Great stay. Fabulous view and walkout to marsh. A three minute walk across the street to the beach. Very comfortable and nicely decorated cottage. Located far down the east side away from the noise and congestion. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay on Folly!

This was our first time staying at Salt and Sol, and it was great! We were looking for a quiet place to stay in good proximity to the beach, and were not disappointed. The renovation was thoughtfully done, and the space feels much larger than we expected it to!

Perfect hosts, perfect accommodation

We rented John and Jean’s wonderful home for two months. John & Jean have been charming hosts, communication from immediate contact has been easy and instant. Every question we asked was answered in full, we felt very reassured before our arrival. The home is stunning. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Everything was thought through very carefully anticipating what their guests might need for a comfortable and easy stay on Folly. The comfortable beds allowed for a good night sleep which makes a huge difference to a vacation. I highly recommend anyone stay at this delightful home with these wonderful hosts. We hope to return in the near future.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were very impressed with our stay at Salt and Sol on Folly Beach. The house is smartly decorated and impeccably clean, just a comfortable home away from home. The beach is a short walk away and you can see the ocean from the front deck and bedroom. Honestly, you won't find a nicer place to stay at Folly...or for a trip to Charleston, which is less than 30 minutes away. Don't hesitate to book this home for your next vacation.

Great house and location

We really appreciated the ease of going to and from the beach throughout the day. My wife loved the decor of the house and I found it very relaxing. No problem bringing our dog and he had a blast running around on the beach. There is good surf fishing right next to the house. The owners were considerate and helpful throughout the process. We hope to stay here again

Another great stay

This is the second time we stayed at Salt and Sol. The property is as nice as it seems in the pictures. It is in a great part of Folly--small and private, but still a short drive to the action. It is a very short walk to the beach. You get AMAZING sunset views over the marsh at night. The check-in process is very easy. Overall, it's a great place to stay!

Perfect space for a classic beach vacation

Super location - beach just across the street (3 minute walk) and incredible marsh view in the back. Very cool and stylish furnishings. In particular the many unique light fixtures and craft bar-like countertops gave the place a really neat vibe. Overall a fantastic week at Salt and Sol!

Jean and I both grew up in Charleston with many wonderful childhood memories of visits to Folly Beach. Our goal as hosts is to provide a fun and memorable stay for our guests.

The cottage is located away from the Folly main Street on a very quiet and safe end of the island. This part of the island tends to draw more family vacationers.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The cottage is located on a large lot with expansive views of the marsh and both Charleston lighthouses. A navigable tidal creek runs along the rear of the property with dock seating to enjoy the scenery. The home is directly across the street from the beach with a very short walk to the beach.
