The house was not clean at all. The bed mattress cover has dried blood on it. There were no garbage bags, paper towels or soap in the bathrooms. The beds are lopsided and the one mattress has springs popping up. Could not get into the wifi.As soon as you walk in the house has a weird smell. The toilet seat doesn't match up there is a gap when you sit down. The upstairs shower door doesn't open all the way. The towel rack is falling off the wall. The upstairs upper bunk bed has a hole in the ceiling above the headboard. The good thing is we were in town for a graduation so we weren't at the house during the day.

The good and the bad. First the place was reasonably clean. The bedding and towels etc were in good order. The bad. Host was slow to respond and didn't answer my questions. Second the steps to the porch and the porch were in bad shape. The hand rail was loose and too low to use. The inside kitchen was good. The grill had no propane but the it worked and we put some in and it worked. The inside was clean and it did have 4 bedrooms. The steps to the second floor were a disaster. they angled at a 75 degree angle, were less than 6 inches wide and no railing. Upstairs they extended into the walkway and again no railing to stop a person from stepping into them. More than half the light fixtures do not function. Would not stay with this rented again.

Our stay was nice. The purpose was to attend a birthday party right around the corner from the house so it was super convenient. Pretty much everything listed as far as describing the house was accurate. The house was neatly decorated. Note: there is no microwave and there are stairs approx 15 where 3 of the 4bedrooms were located.

This property needs a lot of work. The listing just did not match. One of the bedrooms upstairs had no air conditioning and the shower you could barely get in and out of because the door wouldn't open all the way which was because the ceiling was at such a steep pitch that the door. And the rug that was outside the upstairs shower was dry rotted to the floor and not able to absorb any water from when you got in and out. And downstairs, the shower was inside of a giant garden tub. There were so many things that were odd about this house. And not necessarily okay or compliant in a lot of ways.The toilet seat wasn't big enough for the toilet. We were missing electrical outlet covers. There was a very steep stairway going upstairs. But there was no handrail, so it was not safe at all. The basement was flooded with some sort of blue chemical looking water, and in general, it was pretty upsetting when we checked in. We had a hard time getting ahold of the host about the address. Because the address was wrong on the listing . And once we got there and realized how awful it was truthfully wanted to leave. The host did offer to come and try to fix some of the problems. But truthfully, the problems that needed to be fixed were way beyond something that could be done while we were staying on property. However, they did come and at least mow the lawn while we stayed there. The host did refund some of our money. But the experience was one of the the worst experiences i've had at a VRBO.
