The apartment is exactly as described, spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and nice hot showers. Conveniently located in the lower east side of Manhattan, close to transportation and restaurants. Owner was very responsive and available at all times. Would recommend this two bedroom apartment.

In line with some of the other reviews, this property has lot of potential but poor management is dragging it down.To check-in we had to arrange for in-person meeting with lot of warnings about getting charged for being late so we got there early and were just killing time. We texted the contact person at the time of the meeting and she just texted back with instructions where to find the lockbox!The apartment had few serious issues:When we tried to connect to wifi a page opened informing us that the account has been disconnected.The kitchen was severely under-equipped, with 3 mugs, 3 spoons and knifes, 2 plastic forks.We informed the person that was supposed to help us in case of any problems because host was out of town and she just said host already knew about the internet and we should text him about the kitchen.Later we also found out the bathroom sink was not draining well.The host answered 2nd day at night and to his credit he actually fixed the internet. He said he put in a maintenance request for the sink and said that he had told the contact lady to help us with the kitchen. None of that happened before we left.

So not only did the cleaning lady just leave the keys in the bushes out front when we had arranged a meeting, but when we first got in the sheets didnt seem clean and had stains, so we went to change them and found piles of dirty laundry and wet towels hanging on the clothing racks in the closet by the front door. Then we went through the whole apartment and it was disgusting. Grime and dead bugs on the windowsills, it looked like it had never been dusted (i wiped down the baseboards, top of the doors and doorframes, picture frames, and ac units myself), HAIR stuck to the door in the bathroom, the sink was clogged, there was mold on the bathroom walls and on the shower curtain, greasy fingerprints on all the walls, food splatter in the microwave, stains on the couch, pop bottle tabs under the rug, and caked on dirt on the floor, piles of dust under the beds and in the corner of the closets, broken and dirty dishes in the cupboard. Especially after explaining we had an infant with us, this was horrifying. We contacted the cleaner and had her come back, change the sheets and clean again. She was two hours getting back to the unit, so we waited in a dirty apartment because she didnt tell us how long she'd be. I then walked her through and pointed out everything, she also admitted she only ever dry mopped the floor. Even after she left i had to clean again, since even after pointing things out she still left things dirty. We had to use a sheet to even sit on the couch. Never aga

This property has incredible potential to be a fabulous vacation rental. The host was very communicative and helpful when we initiated our reservation. He did ask if we were ok with the location because it’s not exactly where the description might lead you to believe it is. We found the property to be very convenient and well located nonetheless. Check in was easy. The queen beds were comfy. There was closet space with hangers, bath towels and a working heat and a/c unit in each room. The bathroom had 2 rolls of toilet paper and body wash in the shower. The kitchen had pans, cooking supplies, a coffee maker and an electric water kettle.Living room: The couch and rug were filthy. Bathroom: The round toilet seat did not fit the oblong toilet. Half of the mirror on the vanity was missing and the shower had definitely seen better days. There was no hand soap provided and the hand towel looked suspiciously used.Kitchen: No utensils. There was one spoon, a couple of bowls, small and large plates. No forks or table knives. No paper towel or kitchen towels and the water kettle had water in it.We were instructed to direct any questions to the housekeeper as the host was out of the city during our stay. When we asked her about hand soap she let us know she only cleaned the unit and had nothing to do with stocking it. We texted several questions to the host but never heard from him again after checking in. Again, incredible potential but lacking a few essentials.
