I /we truly enjoy our stay, home was beautiful, It was my husband birthday, we celebrated with 2 other couples. To be able to rent a boat and drive back to the home was AMAZING. The host was very nice and reply quickly to my concerns. Book this home, you won't regret it.
A grand old lakeside cabin with something for everyone! Lots of space and plenty of peace, quiet, and nature. Well appointed kitchen and excellent hosts really rounded out the experience. Our week was over far too soon.
The place and Tony the host were wonderful. The house was very comfortable, well set up and inviting. I would definitely recommend it and go there again.
It was our first visit to Lake Oconee and we loved it! The house was perfect and as described. The host was very responsive to our questions. The property was immaculately landscaped and the dock was amazing. We would definitely stay here again!
This is the most perfect lake house. The property is beautiful. The home is very family orientated. There are great boat rental places and you can tie up at the home’s dock. The dock, alone, is a perfect swim spot and fishing spot. The host was very, very fast with communications. The home is very family like and has more than you need to enjoy the lake.
Absolutely beautiful home and landscaping.
Fishing is pretty good, too!
I would recommend this for couples, family or friends to relax and enjoy the view and the fishing.
The property is a great place for family or just a relaxing visit. We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed sitting on the dock and porch. The house is nice and cozy and our group of 10 had plenty of room. The owners are great folks and respond to your messages promptly and will give you great advice on things to make your trip memorable. We sold our house at the coast and started renting VRBO on ga lakes. We will be stay with Gray family many times in the future. We will always check with them first to see if this place is available for the dates we need.My whole family from my 5 year old grandson to my wife and me at 66 loved it !!!!
This place is great quiet and close to the bate store. Climbing on the rocks was fun too. The host was very friendly and answered all my questions quickly.
What a perfect Getaway! Can I give higher than a 5 star rating? The VRBO depiction on the website was spot on. What was advertised was what we were delivered. The host was so attentive and helpful. The property was sprawling, deer wandering through the yard, birds singing overhead. A perfect spacious property but cozy at the same time. Super clean as well. Wonderful private dock, took out a kayak and enjoyed the quiet of the lake. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a family get away or a girls weekend or a work weekend with professionals who need some peace and quiet.
Great house and location! Would stay again. The only thing I would recommend is get new dinning room chairs. My grandchildren loved the huge rocks in the yard and saw plenty of Deer in the front yard!
This vacation had everything our large party of 9 needed. We had more than enough space and the facilities offered everything we needed to enjoy our vacation and for cooking meals. The location was ideal as it was a short drive to convenient stores and tucked back far from neighbors. The dock was wonderful and allowed for most of our trip to be spent in the water. We’ll absolutely return!
Another beautiful week here.
This property is stunning and the fishing is great.
This is our third year and we are looking forward to doing it again in 2025.
Good place for our group of 10. Every year we, our kids and grands take a lake vacation. Loved the clean lake, the rocks were unique and made group workouts challenging. We cook together and the kitchen was OK...however the dining room chairs need replaced...we swapped them for folding ones.
We all loved it. Tons of pluses
We'll be back. Great host
Only improvements needed -
1. curtains or blinds on bedroom windows. Not a single window bathroom or otherwise had it. Hard to sleep in and no privacy
2. another frying pan
We had lots of family visit us at this house, there was more than enough room for everyone. The house was spacious, clean & well stocked. The dock was awesome and accommodated our boat, water trampoline and numerous floats & other water toys....the lake was deep enough to play or just relax.... the teenagers said we needed a house like this, lol.... lost power the last night during a horrible storm but still would do it all over again.... thanks to our wonderful host and hope you will have us again.....

Needs cleaning and updating
House was not clean. Toenail clippings on carpet that had not been vacuumed, lotion on bathroom vanity, and cigarette ashes on porch. Oven had so much grease that a small fire ignited when we tried to use it.
The basement is not air conditioned. Uncomfortably warm for those staying down there. This was not mentioned anywhere in the property description.
Home was in a nice location. The scenery and landscape was beautiful. The house was comfortable and plenty room for 10 guests. My family enjoyed their stay. However, the inside of the house can stand an update and can use more appliances.
