About this space
Very private, Charming 1905 One Bedroom apartment in the Mingus park neighborhood. Within walking distance of the bay, downtown restaurants, bars, antiquing, & coffee shops in Coos Bay. Comfy queen sized bed. Full Kitchen & Laundry. Wifi, TV with Netflix. Pets allowed with previous discussion and small cleaning fee. Pack n’ play available for babies or cot available for older children or for 3rd guest. The couch is SO COMFY, guests occasionally skip the bed. ( couch sheets available ! )
The space
Elegant 1905 home remodeled for comfort is welcoming guests. They don’t make them like this anymore. Walkable, quiet Mingus park neighborhood with great neighbors. One Bedroom with courtyard access has a full kitchen & laundry. The courtyard on the south side of the building is available for smoking or vaping. . .

The furnace room and workshop are off limits.

This has been one of my favorite spots to stay at! Ms. Ellie's was such a nice place to relax. It had everything a traveler could need, including a washer and dryer (I was in desperate need!). I would 100% stay here again.

A cozy, comfy and quiet place to stay! Well provided fridge and cupboards full of yummy food and goodies, clean kitchen and bathroom, creative artwork on walls! I will definitely come back!

Excellent stay and exceptional host! Check in and out was super easy-this host and place has spoiled me rotten. Easy to find and great parking. It was well stocked with anything you could want to eat or drink. It has all the pots/pans and appliances you might need! The bed was comfy and the washer was a bonus. Ellie was very sweet and accommodating.

Super easy check-in and check-out. We loved all the artsy touches! The refrigerator and pantry were stocked with just about everything we could have possibly wanted. Shower was great and the bed was comfy.

Originally from the midwest , Ms.Ellie has opened her home to visitors, travelers and nature lovers. An artist, a hiker, a woodworker, a former lithographic printer, Ms. Ellie has retired and is living her best life in Coos Bay Oregon.

This neighborhood is peaceful. There are no neighbors peering in your window. No one (but the outside camera) watching you come and go. It’s easy. There are no steps to get in. Coos Bay is a great place to stop on a trip from California to Portland or Seattle. There are multiple bars, restaurants, a grocery and coffeehouses within walking distance. Excellent nature sights nearby. Dune buggies, fishing, lakes, ocean, mountains & the bay in the largest city on the coast of Oregon. We’ve got it all.

This is a 1905 home that has been upgraded to make life convenient. It has been decorated with a certain vibe that my guests find comforting and relaxing.
