You might edit this…HavenMy family, all six of us, traveled out to attend services for a beloved family member we lost unexpectedly. I found this home and it was such a beautiful and special place for us to be together as a home away from home versus a hotel.It’s in a setting of woods, dirt road, cicadas and frogs serenading us. The house is old, history, and each room has a theme, loved the old wood floors. This house really was so wonderful to come back to and enjoy both inside and outside. The kids loved the chickens. Nice chess board too. Volleyball net.We would come back here in a heartbeat.Thank you to the owner for sharing this special place!

Great house. Unique setting! Wonderful stay. But. It seemed that they are a little new to this. The fourth bedroom was not yet set up so when our daughter decided to stay rather than go back to Connecticut after the family wedding, we used the fold out in the Library and had to hunt for sheets and pillows and blankets. Also, some rooms have no curtains on the windows and those that do are mounted so that they cannot be drawn all the way. Finally, little things like having to search for a bar of soap suggested that the hosts are still learning.
