Enjoyed this property on beautiful Lake Lillinonah in CT. Very comfortable with a wonderful game room and Movie room. Wish we could have stayed longer. The pool and dock were wonderful and everyone loved this home. The owners were very responsive with all our questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful lakeside retreat for family or friends.

Home was beyond our expectations. This home is beautiful and so craft fully put together. There truly was something for everyone. We stayed here with our wedding party in preparation for our wedding and the memories we shared here will definitely be ones that we treasure forever. Thanks for hosting us 10/10!!

This was a lovely space for our family to ring in 2026! The game room and theater were perfect for the kids (big and little). The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare our meals. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Group stay

This house was perfect for our group stay in February. We play in youth hockey tournament at a school near by and this house is excellent for our team to stay and accommodates the entire team!

Had the best time with friends here! Gorgeous house with a gorgeous view. We all had lots of fun using the movie room and arcade games in the basement. Didn’t want to leave!

Excellent lake house

Lots of water activities, heated pool, game room, beautiful views, plus a movie room. We were outside most of the time enjoying everything the house had to offer. We would rate this house an A+

Wedding weekend!

We had an amazing wedding weekend - beginning with rehearsal dinner at this incredible house! Then wedding day - we did first look and vows on the dock! Day after wedding we had the entire family back to enjoy another beautiful day. The house is absolutely perfect. The views are amazing and the property is breathtaking. Could not have been more perfect. Worth every penny to be able to house so many people comfortably! Thank you so much!!

Brookfield Fun

We really enjoyed this spacious home in its beautiful setting. The many bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated our 11 adults/ 2 children family very well. Everyone loved the heated pool which we used even in the rain, the game room with fun activities for “kids” of all ages, the well-organized kitchen, large dining room, and the theatre with its great seating and terrific sound system. Beth was a wonderful host responding to questions whenever we needed answers. Maybe next time the weather will enable us to use the lake also! A great family place!

very, VERY fine stay....

If you re looking for a house in this price range and location, you cannot go wrong booking this property. And even if it is outside your budget, you won't regret it. The house is large and wonderfully spacious...the grounds are well kept and the lake setting is beautiful and relaxing. We never saw or heard from our neighbors, so if you're looking for a modicum of privacy, you've got it. There is literally everything you need here for kids and adults...(even an electric piano which was super for us as we are all professional musicians!). Our family reunion was a great success, thanks in large part to Beth herself, who was ALWAYS available to answer questions and handle one minor snafu we had upon cking in, (which she took care of immediately, sending a person out to the house within 35 minutes, to rectify our issue. We have rented houses for years for our family get-together, mostly with VRBO, and I would have to say this one is tied for first place in my opinion. I could go on and on, but I'll close with saying, Beth is the most professional caretaker we have dealt with and, everything in the house was in order and clean. Bravo, Beth!

A perfect palace for Friendscation!

We loved our stay at this property and it was perfect for all the needs of our party. We had 12 adults, a 7 year old, a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 3 month old, and we all had a great time! There were MANY amazing things this property had to offer, including the easy lake access, the lovely pool, the big deck and the quiet neighborhood, but for us the best part was how big the house was and how far apart the rooms were to one and other. With so many different families and family needs (i.e. families with newborns, families with no kids, etc.) it was really nice to easily be able to find rooms for each of us and feel together, yet not on top of each other. We have had many Friendscations together and this was by far the best house layout for us! The property manager was communicative, kind and answered my questions quickly. A few things were "good" not "great". The hot tub wasn't working, and of course we are understanding that things happen, but it was a bummer. The house did not appear to be cleaned really well upon our arrival. Each bathroom had hair in the drain from the previous guests and the counters were sticky. One of the rooms had no blinds which meant the couple staying in there not only were woken by the early morning sun but their privacy was a bit compromised, especially since this room looked over the whole backyard. The owners were kind enough to provide sleeping masks though, so that was really nice. Again, all of these are little things that didn't affect our stay too much. We still had a wonderful time! Some of the other things we really loved - the game room basement was a HIT with the kiddos (and the fellas who really loved playing pool). The paddle boards and kayaks were used by us everyday and allowed us to have lots of fun on the lake. The pool was a great combination for fun and relaxing, with lots of furniture and umbrellas for those who wanted to watch the pool fun. The TV room was super cozy as we watched lunchtime Disney movies with the kids, and we were pumped to find out there were multiple fridges and ovens for our large party to use! Overall it was a GREAT stay and we really were bummed to see that summer 2023 is almost all booked up because we are anxious to book again! Thanks to Beth for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and giving us amazing memories that we will have for a long time. We absolutely recommend this spot!

Perfect spot for family getaway!

Beth’s house was as described. Perfect for large gathering with family and Friends. Convenient location and not far from Danbury. Game and movie room was a huge plus for kids and adults. Kitchen was well stocked for large group meals.

Team Retreat

The property is beautiful and it offers so much! You never have to leave except to get food. The house is exactly as pictured and there is something for everyone to do for fun including just relaxing. This is definitely a do over!!!

Great Stay for Families

We rented Beth’s home as a group of families each with small children (ages 3 and under). The home accommodated us well. We really enjoyed the pool area, the movie theatre, and the basement game room. The negatives were that some kitchen items weren’t clean and the basement bedroom had spiders. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and how well 5 diff families could function with multiple small children. The extra fridges and laundry were also very useful for families with children. Beth was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. We hope to rent with Beth again!

Loved the experience

The house was perfect for my birthday celebration ; we were 4 children( under 3) and 8 adults. Everyone was happy; everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house was well stocked and the host was lovely and super responsive. We look forward to returning. Thanks Beth.
