Stayed for a weekend - very clean, great location, smooth check-in process, great communication. Loved the outdoor balcony looking out to the river. My only complaint would be the bedrooms could use blackout curtains.

Perfect for our visit to see our sister. Property exactly as described. Clean and beds super comfortable. So much within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. Superb host!

The loft is in a fantastic location and is within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shops. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. However, the common areas are much smaller than they appear in the listing, especially the kitchen. If you're traveling with a larger group, I wouldn't plan on cooking meals there due to the limited counter space and overall size.Unfortunately, our stay got off to a very rough start. We received only about one hour's notice before check-in that the water to the entire loft had been shut off. From the time we checked in until around noon the following day, when a plumber was finally able to restore service, we did not have a usable bathroom.Communication from the host during this situation was disappointing. I called the listed phone number and spoke with someone who told me they would contact the host and call me back, but I never received a return call. We were also told the water would be turned back on that first evening. After returning from dinner, the water was still off, and we had received no update explaining the delay or setting expectations.The host did offer to move us to another property for the night, but it was not large enough to accommodate our group, so it wasn't a practical solution.Had the water issue been handled with better communication and a more suitable resolution, our experience would have been much different.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and the space and comfort of the bedrooms. We're very sorry about the water outage during your stay. The cause was a valve that broke off inside the wall, which required replacement parts to be ordered before a permanent fix could be made — that's why the repair took longer than any of us wanted. We know an hour's notice before check-in and a bathroom outage into the next day is a rough way to start a trip, and we're sorry for the stress that caused. We did have a vacation rental available just across the street and offered to move your group there right away while the repair was completed, though we understand that option didn't end up working for your party's size. We also regret that our communication in the moment didn't meet the standard we hold ourselves to — you should have received a callback with a clear update, and we're addressing that gap internally. We appreciate you letting us know, and we'd welcome the chance to host your group again for a smoother stay.
