Beautiful place to spend some quiet time,the whole area is quiet, beautiful beaches, the condo I really hope that stay long time!! The ocean is reclaiming the area like in Avon, Outerbanks definitely I will stay in this place again cozy, also you can have a lot of fun around, Thank you Teresa very much for everything .

There was a small hiccup with the air conditioning not working but Teresa worked with the property manager to create a solution while getting the air up and running. Other than this, the room and the unit were quaint and had everything we needed. The beach access was perfect.

What a wonderful long weekend getaway! The property was clean and communication with the host was excellent. Coffee on the patio, watching the dolphins play in the surf and watching the sunrise was incredible. The kids loved the bunk beds! We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, wonderful access to the beach, stunning views from the deck, and a comfortable bed. The property requires updating.

The property is a mess-the ocean front is supported with sandbags-building looks very unstable and no beach at this site- you have to walk through about 1 foot of water approx. 100 yards to get to a beach area with the waves constantly splashing on you, some strong enough to throw you off balance if you are not tripped up with sunken sandbags that have come loose hidden under the water. the sand bags are very large and are close to being the size of a small car in length. we were never told their was no elevator as we were scheduled for the 3rd floor. we are a couple in our 80's unable to manuver those obstacles to get to the beach or get our luggage to our room. the parking lot[ if you want to call it that ] is full of potholes and hardly any place to park at that. we were never able to connect to the property manager so i can not tell you what the inside looked like. if it looked like the outside i can only imagine. as i said we could never get any acess to the unit and had to room some where else.

Overall, our stay was decent, but the check-in experience was extremely frustrating.When we first arrived, the property had not been cleaned from the previous guests, so we were moved to another unit across from the beach. While that location was nice, the air conditioning was not working properly, and after dealing with that issue we were moved back again. Having to relocate twice after a long day of travel was very inconvenient and took away from the relaxing start we were hoping for.I will say that the host communicated well throughout the process and responded quickly whenever a problem arose. They did provide a 100 refund for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.The final property itself was acceptable and the beach location was fantastic, but the multiple moves, cleaning issue, and lack of working AC made the overall experience much more stressful than it should have been. In our opinion, a larger refund would have been more appropriate given the amount of disruption to our stay.

We were very surprised to see this review, as this guest never checked into or stayed at our property. As a result, the comments do not reflect an actual guest experience in our home. For the benefit of future guests, our listing clearly discloses that the property is a three-story walk-up and that, due to significant erosion on the north end of the island, beach access directly in front of the building can be difficult or unavailable during high tide. The sandbags mentioned are there to protect the oceanfront buildings from further erosion and storm damage. We work hard to be transparent in our listing so guests can make an informed decision before booking. We welcome feedback from guests who have actually stayed with us, but we are disappointed that a review was permitted from someone who never checked in or experienced the property.
