A native of Santa Barbara, CA, KJ and her husband, Bret, dedicated 15 years to active duty military service. Throughout their lives, KJ and Bret, along with their four sons, have called many places home, including Santa Barbara, Italy, Spain, Hawaii, South Korea, North Carolina, Georgia, and Utah. Now, as empty nesters, KJ and Bret enjoy exploring the scenic backroads of Utah on Bret's motorcycle.
