The location was great, it was perfect and clean. The only issue and why I gave them a poor rating on communication and check in is because no information on how the apartment was attached to the home and how to get to the door to put in the code. I tried calling the host but no answer, luckily for me their neighbor came out and asked if she could help me. When I told her what I was looking for she directed me to the gate to the right of the home that led to the apartment. It was difficult without information to navigate in the dark.

Great location for us

Clean and nice kitchenette. Only 1 block from our son’s house in good neighborhood. We simply parked at his house overnight so we didn’t worry about street parking.

Beautiful little studio apt. Very clean, THE most comfiest bed! Air con, WiFi, everything we needed to cook was supplied in kitchen. Beautiful bathroom. Quiet and safe area. Plenty of places to park a car. Close to everything. Loved our stay and will stay again!

Convenient and comfortable

This was a great location for me. I came for my granddaughter’s graduation. It was a nice room. The host was kind and while I could hear the family through the wall ever so slightly at times, I found it reassuring as a solo traveler. Thank you for the hospitality!

Little gem Costa Mesa

Amazing little gem in Costa Mesa. It is clean, efficient and quiet. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. There is a little efficiency kitchen & an awesome comfortable bed! Because the weather was on the cold side, they provide a space heater that kept the unit nice and warm. I will definitely stay there again!

New Design Studio

Despite having to find a place to stay because my son was having heart surgery, the cozy studio place I found helped make the experience much better than I’d imagined. It was clean, well-furnished, and secure enough to help me relax and get much-needed rest while going to and from the hospital. I would recommend this place to a friend or family member.

The location of the Airbnb was great, and we appreciated the overall cleanliness of the space. However, there were a few things that made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped. The bed was not very comfortable, and the fitted sheets didn’t stay on, which made sleeping a bit difficult. We ended up purchasing our own pillows, as the ones provided weren’t very supportive. The water pressure in the shower was also quite low, which made it hard to get a good rinse.One of the more concerning issues was that the cleaning crew arrived a full day early and unlocked the door while we were still staying there, which felt like a pretty major privacy concern. Unfortunately, we reached out to the host about this and also asked about checkout details the next day, but never received a response.While the place had potential, better communication and a few comfort upgrades would really improve the overall experience.

The studio was attached to the main house. The wall sepaately the two was extremely thin. The house was occupied with at least 6 people and it was so noisy and loud you'd think they were staying in the studio unit with us. Ahalf a roll of tp, no sponge or dish towel to wash dishes.

Such a horrible experience

We got there and the walls are paper thin. You can here everyone and everything from the house the room is connected to. Awful bed and just overall a negative experience…

I wish you were an honest person. We have not had a complaint on the bed. The studio is attached to the main house with double walls to avoid sound.

Just what I was looking for

This was a great little place conveniently located near the OC Marathon finish line where I was working for the weekend. I agree with the previous review that the walls were thin - it was a little noisy for me but a pair of ear plugs would fix that. The location was nice and convenient. The owners were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy and close. The place was clean, the bed comfortable enough, and it had almost everything I needed. If you really need tv, I would check with the owners first, there didn't seem to be anything but an antenna which picked up 2-3 stations. No biggie for me but I know some people are into that. I did wish there were more outlets - especially one near the bed to charge a phone or ipad - I used the kitchen. All in all a good experience :)

Cute, but not for cold weather.

My wife and I had planned on staying for the weekend. On arrival, it was raining, windy and very cold. A window was left open since the last guest & the room temp was in the 40's. We closed the window, found a space heater, plugged it in, but would have taken hours to overcome the cold. We looked inside the wardrobe for extra blankets, found none, we did find two pillows, two wash cloths, two hand towels and two bath towels. We called the owner who said the window had been left open due to “Covid” regulations and were told to “Plug in the heater”. She said that her husband would be by with extra blankets, towels, and look at the heater. We had an event that evening, so we left assured that when we returned there would be heat. We did text with the owner several times that afternoon and we came to the conclusion that nothing would be resolved in time to warm up the room, so at 7:23 pm we texted the owner and let them know we had made other plans. We finally received a text back at 10:16 pm, and were told that they had replaced the space heater, and that extra blankets and towels were in the wardrobe. We returned in the morning to retrieve our belongings, found that the space heater had been replaced, but not plugged in. No extra blankets or towels were provided, and the room was just as cold as the day before. I guess we made the right decission to stay elsewhere. It is the hosts responsibility to make the guest feel welcome, and the unit be warm, that simply did not happen.

We really enjoyed our 4 days there. It was easy to find and very clean and quiet. We were gone all day and usually didn’t get home till 10 at night. It was a perfect location for Huntington and Newport Beach. We would stay there again.
