Spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom upstairs apartment within walking distance of the beach!
Vaulted ceilings, large deck with gas BBQ, private entrance and a fully equipped and recently remodeled kitchen.
Located in the heart of Corona del Mar village, short walk to many restaurants and shops. Short drive to Fashion Island shopping mall, Pelican Hill Golf Course, Crystal Cove State Beach, Balboa Island and much more.
A perfect Holiday spot for couples or families! Beach towels and beach chairs available for your use.

There is also a separate 1 bedroom studio downstairs available that sleeps two. See VRBO listing # 739255.

Also if you would like to visit Joshua Tree National Park during your visit, I have 2 - newly remodeled, 1 bedroom units, very near the Park and walking distance from downtown Joshua Tree- See VRBO Listing # 2482603 and # 2482040.

Fantastic place! Spacious, clean, cute and stocked with just the things you need for a weekend getaway.. bathroom products, snacks and coffee! Parking was easy on the street. Quite neighbors. Walkability a 10+. Colleen was incredibly communicative and quick to respond to my questions. Highly recommend!

Fantastic in every way.

Colleen does many extras and provides top notch bedding, towels. Beautiful, quiet, very clean, newly updated and everything in great condition. Wonderful location!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

A Great Location

Things We Loved About the Property: My husband and I loved the location of Colleen’s 1 bedroom unit. It’s walkable to the beach, dining and shopping without being in a super busy or loud area. We appreciated the curated list of restaurants and support for local artists in the unit. The kitchen was well stocked and it was really fun to grill on the patio. Things we didn’t like: There isn’t actually a parking spot for the unit, it should say street parking on the listing. We parked on the wrong side and got a ticket. We did not find the bed or pillows comfortable and bought our own topper and pillows during the stay. The couch and chairs in the living area are quite aged and not that comfy. I know hosts need signs and rules to keep their unit in good condition, but I didn’t appreciate the sign on the AC unit saying not to run it while we were out. It was unseasonably warm while we were there and the unit stayed hot and humid most of the stay.

Perfect place to stay

Beautiful, nicely organized, spacious and well appointed one bedroom lodging. The location was perfect to walk many places in the area including the beach, small shops, beautiful neighborhoods. Would not hesitate to return.

Colleen was a great host during my recent stay at her property - we had an issue with the grill and she was kind enough to let us use her personal grill - property was as advertised and the location was very convenient to the beach - would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking to get away and enough the summer beach weather

We Loved our Stay

We really enjoyed our stay, the accomodations were lovely, she even left out some snacks for us. It was very quiet and we were very comfortable. There was a full kitchen, with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker microwave, all the pots, pans, glasses, cups and utensils. There was a patio and a barbeque. It was very close to the beach about a 2 minute drive. The beach was gorgeous. There were alot of fun dining places near by. Coleen was a great host. We definately would stay there again.

Casa Corona Del Mar

This is an excellent place to stay. Has everything we needed and some extras. Location is ideal in a very nice neighborhood. Safe for walking anytime day or night. The manager really made us feel at home. I expect we will be back!

Gem in Corona del Mar

My wife and I have been vacationing in CDM for the last 6 years during January-February timeframe. We have stayed at many rental properties and this property is one of the best for the accommodations offered, the location, the pricing, the privacy and the ease of check-in/out. The resident owner is delightful but not intrusive in any way, just wants you to have a pleasant stay. The property is just as pictured, is very clean and comes with a generous supply of paper goods, laundry and dishwasher detergent and bathroom toiletries (the shower is powerful, great!) The washer/dryer is a stackable unit on the lower level, easy access and free to use. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance, pan, and utensil you will need. There is an outdoor space with umbrella table and chairs that we did not get to use because of the "Pineapple Express" rain we endured for 4 days (host not responsible!!!) It is located just two blocks east of Pacific Coast Highway so you have ready walking access to CDM, the beach and all its offerings. Parking is on-street but no problem finding a nearby spot. I would highly recommend this property to a couple who want to enjoy CDM and the surrounding areas. We will be back next year!!

Spacious home away from home

Villa del Mar exceeded my expectations. Though I did not make use of all its amenities, it has been set up as a home away from home. Do not hesitate to book this for an extended stay in Orange County. (Young families, the owner provides a pack and play in the very large closet!) I did not give five stars for location and neighborhood because, on Mondays and Tuesdays, regular street sweeping means moving your car by 8:30am on those days. Parking on Sunday and Monday nights can be tricky because of this. Otherwise, Villa del Mar is in a walkable neighborhood with quick access to several good cafes and shops.

Great one BR location

We stayed here for three weeks and it was great. Everything was neat, clean and as advertised. One block off PCH made quick shopping and restaurants an easy walk.

Exceeded expectations

The location was ideal. Walking distance to the beach , many restaurants, a market and pharmacy. Easy access by car to other beach towns. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked.
