Great Experience

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in Tybee! It’s just minutes from the beach, with super convenient beach access right outside the door. One of my favorite features was how close the outdoor shower area was—it made it so easy to rinse off after a day at the beach before heading back inside. The check-in instructions were clear and accurate, and we had no issues at all during our stay

Honeymoon Stay

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon and this place was perfect. We felt as though it was updated nicely, was clean, enough space for us and overall loved that it was 10 steps to the pool and the beach. We also loved having the washer and dryer in the unit which was so helpful! The hosts were so accomodating and kind and we definitely will be using this place again the future! Thank you!

Great place! Beautiful place and views! So many positives about this place! Only negative is the internet was a bit slow and the beach “hosing off” station for the complex was right next to the back deck. But overall, was terrific!

Very easy to book and check in. Great communication with host. Property is just as described and pictured. Very nicely decorated, bright and very clean. Just steps from the boardwalk to the beach. Beautiful view for sunsets, dolphins and boats. Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay

The property was perfect for my wife and I. It was in a great spot to watch the sunset each evening from the deck, it was close to the beach access so I didn't need to haul a bunch of beach gear very far. The two beach chairs broke the first day we were there and our host was very quick to replace them with brand new chairs! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Tybee.

We loved our stay, having never been to Tybee before. It was the perfect "getaway". Quiet and quaint. Tybee Island in charming and very interesting. Our VRBO condo had everything we needed. It's neat, clean, well-furnished, and has a dynamite view from the balcony overlooking the water (whick is something not many units here at Savannah Beach Raquet Club had). We would definitely come back another time.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. As the previous reviews say it’s a great location and is close to the pool and beach access. On the other hand the room is directly next to the steps and you can hear everyone coming and going from there rooms. Also, we could hear every little thing the unit above us was doing and didn’t get any rest. There is horrible insulation in this unit. If you want sleep I would not say this unit is for you.

Very Pleased

The check in process was provided in such detail that we had no issues. The property is just like in the pictures which is always a relief! It was interesting to see the cargo ships entering the bay from the comfort of the living room or the outdoor space. The entire cleanliness of the condo was superior! It had a very homey vibe that was really relaxing. We would stay here again.

Tybee beachfront

The location really can’t be beat. So convenient to the beach and pool. However the interior pictures are misleading. The place is great for two but four would be impossible in my opinion. The bath towels are huge and fluffy. The microwave doesn’t work and the blow dryer is so sticky with something I had to wrap it in paper towels to use it. The kitchen is very well equipped.

The location of this condo is amazing

It had a great view! Saw dolphins from the balcony every day. The only thing is I wish I was told the washer and dryer were out of service in the condo. The community washer and dryer were available, but it would have been nice to know beforehand.

This place was nice but could use some upgrades. It has been newly(within the last few years) painted and redecorated. It looks good, however, the tub is old and the handles for the shower go every which way. The sofa and footstool either need to be cleaned or replaced. They are dirty. The chairs for the beach were broken again. We did not complain about anything to the manager, we just made do. This unit is very noisy! Right next to pool area and the ramp down to the beach. If you are a people person, it will be great because everyone from the complex will be by for you to say hi to! lol but if you are wanting to relax and maybe take a nap, you need to keep looking!

Mold

Long story short my husband and I went on our honeymoon and ended up very sick to where we left early and headed home. Every morning got worse and worse, coughing, sore throat, itchy watering eyes, runny noses. Every time we would leave the house we would start feeling better, and then come back to being miserable. I got worse than my husband, and being that im pregnant I couldnt do it any longer. Very sad thats how our honeymoon ended. I love Tybee Island, and the raquet club was nice, so was the condo, but i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone after breathing in mold like that. Ive never been so sick from just staying somewhere. I hope people see this, and keep in mind just because you cant see it doesnt mean its there!!! Its got to be a huge problem! We feel better after 2 nights away!

Beautiful water view condo

From the moment we checked in we loved everything about this condo. Beautiful water view where we were able to watch dolphins playing and watch the sunset. The property managers were amazing!!! Everything we needed was right there and to make things even more special they had flowers, champagne and a balloon greeting us for our 25th anniversary. That extra touch made our stay even more special! Would love to come back for another visit!!

Why they chose this property

Well... Funny you should ask because there is actually a whole episode of HGTV's Beachfront Bargain Hunt dedicated to answering this question. If you want to check it out the episode first aired in 2017, Season 17, Episode 5 - The Upside of Downsizing to Tybee Island.

But long story short, we bought it for the incredible views and the fact that it is on the quiet, secluded part of the beach.

What makes this property unique

This portion of the beach is the least crowded and calmest on the island. If you need peace and serenity, look no further! This portion of the beach is just before the bay so we have calm waves and tons of dolphins and shrimp boats. There are also distant views of the historic Cockspur Light house and Fort Pulaski National Monument.

This unit in particular boast the most convenient location in the whole condominium. It is the closest unit to both the beach and pool access points and has the shortest walk to the main parking lot. It's corner unit location also provide it with additional windows, natural light, and a full view of both the pool and beach.
