Condominio en el ático del piso superior en First Flight Retreat. "Still on Vacation" está en el último piso y ofrece impresionantes vistas al mar desde el balcón privado. El condominio ofrece una amplia cocina abierta con encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, además de una gran barra de desayuno con taburetes. Este condominio de nivel superior tiene techos abovedados y está bellamente decorado. Mucho espacio para todos, ya que este condominio cuenta con 1 habitación king, 1 habitación queen más un sofá cama queen en la sala de estar. Ambas habitaciones tienen televisores de pared para su disfrute. El amplio balcón privado cuenta con una mesa de bar y 4 sillas para que disfrutes de las olas y los amaneceres increíbles. My family and I stayed at this property week of 8/18/25 for one week. Everything about it was excellent. Location, property management, condition and quality of the condo all excellent. Need trash cans at the pool and around the property.

Perfection

This condo exceeded our expectations and is prettier in person than on VRBO. There is new beechwood tile throughout and the view is AMAZING. The unit has nice high ceilings and great lighting. It felt open and bright and clean. We loved it!

Lovely Vacation Spot!

We loved the condo right on the beach where we could see the sunrises and the waves crashing on the beach. It was a great place to come back to and relax after spending our days exploring the Outer Banks. First Flight management was very easy to communicate with, and very responsive. Thank you!

Loved our Condo!!!

Right on the beach, it had amazing views. The only bad thing I could say was the access to the beach was not friendly for one member of our party that has mobility issues.

Comfortable beachfront condo with tasteful upgrades

The location is fantastic and the condo was very nice. Perhaps it was because of the time of year (or COVID), but none of the extra amenities were usable (either closed or not operational) which was a disappointment because we were looking forward to at least enjoying the game room (none of the games were usable: missing equipment or did not work). The check-in process was not typical for us because we started our trip in Christmas Day and only booked it late the day prior, but the First Flight staff eventually contacted us and were very apologetic and nice. (We never did receive some lease they wanted us to sign.) I would go back during peak season if the pool and hot tub were accessible, but the off-season price seems high to us in hindsight. Our only true complaint, which cannot realistically be controlled, is that there were two separate units in close proximity to us that had dogs that barked incessantly - all day long. It was maddening. The weather was beautiful, and we wanted to keep the balcony doors open to enjoy the sounds of the waves, but instead (even with the doors closed), we had to listen to barking dogs. Also, would be great if the Living room TV was a Smart TV or had Netflix. Overall, it was fine, but somewhat lacked the WOW factor under the circumstances. It is clear, however, that this owner is intent on providing a beautiful respite for vacationers which we can appreciate. And, again, First Flight was super polite.

Beautiful view from comfortable, convenient condo.

This condo has been recently repainted and updated. It is beautifully decorated and has a great view of the ocean from the living room and from the deck. We visited Pea Island and Alligator River Nature Reserve, both within 30 minutes drive, and we went to the Wright Brothers' Memorial, within one mile away.. We had an issue with the smoke detector chirping, and the property manager's response was prompt and friendly. I would happily return to this property.

Great location!

Great location, property management was fantastic to deal with. Beautiful views. The unit is in need of updating, but nothing that truly detracts from the stay. Elevator closest to us was broken our entire stay but there’s another in the building. Odd bedroom layout - no windows in any bedrooms, but the large oceanfront balcony more than made up for that. Overall it was a 4 out of 5 and a reasonable price!

Great location

The condo has great views of the beach and ocean and is overall, comfortable for 2 couples. It is older and the furniture and bathroom fixtures could use an up-grade, but overall and good place to stay at the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at First Flight Rentals

Booking our trip and the ease of the check-in process via email was a breeze and very convenient. The property is located on the beach which is a plus. The two bedroom condo we stayed in was spacious enough for the three of us. My wife and I had our own separate bathroom/shower from my daughter which was a bonus. I would recommend staying here.

Noise was awful

First I want to say the mgt company is great! No issues at all and very responsive. We came down to buy a place on the outer banks. I like to stay where I’m thinking of buying before I actually purchase. These are $600,000 condos built like a modular. No insulation what so ever. We heard dogs barking next door and footsteps constantly. We were on the top floor and the hvac unit rumbled all day and night, shook the condo. It is very evident that the installation and vibration absorption was poorly done. Sleep was terrible, would not stay there again and certainly would not consider a purchase.

Overall a great place to stay.

The condo is nice and situated in a great area with plenty to do and fantastic restaurants all around. My party was pleased with our stay but we have some recommendations for the owners. We would recommend hiring a better cleaning crew and investing in new: carpet, bedding/pillows, shower curtains, laundry machines and some more kitchen utensils. The dryer is starting to go and requires some finesse to get it working. The bedding is dingy and has stains. The pillows are shot. The spare bedroom bed needs replaced. The shower curtains have mildew on them. And the carpet has obviously seen better days and needs replaced. We do not want these to come off as complaints, they are just suggestions that will put the place over the top. Thank you for the stay and we look forward to coming back to the area next year.
