Nice to have a new property & secluded. Good place to stay. As this is in a temperate area, it relies on windows for cooling.

Beautiful, peaceful, spic ‘n span, we loved this place! And Bailey’s Harbor has only improved with time, unlike a few other DC locations that feel much more touristy than years past. This place is a gem!Tricky to find using Google Maps but Shawn provided excellent maps, and a quick response when we were bewildered. And he is actually working on Google providing better location services. Great host! One of our best vacation stays ever!

Nice, clean, unique house. We enjoyed our stay very much. We couldn’t get the tv working but that’s ok, in door county we should spend more time outside and with each other.

Great stay! Not in walking distance to anything because it’s deep in the forest, but that means lots of beautiful forest views from the house and especially on the deck. It was a 5-minute drive to Baileys harbor, 15-minute drive to Egg Harbor and Fish Creek, and 20-minutes to Sisters Bay.If you plan on cooking, it would be best to bring your own meal-prep items. The kitchen has sufficient plates, cups, utensils, pots and pans, but there were a couple things not there that we needed (oven mitts, hot pads, cookie sheet, baking dish, stirring spoon, bowl to prep in). This was a great weekend, and we’d definitely consider re-booking if we ever are back in Door County. We had a wonderful time!

Hi Erin, Thank you for booking with us. I apologize that you felt we didn't offer adequate cooking equipment. All of the cooking items mentioned lacking were/are stocked in the many drawers and cabinets in this beautiful and large kitchen. I again apologize that you were unable to locate the items you needed for cooking. We will move cooking equipment around so hopefully the next guests will find things easier in the future. We try to stock everything that guests might want for cooking and we continue to add additional kitchen equipment for the advanced chefs.

Beautiful property, peaceful, and calm. My husband and I had a great time with our dog as well.As this is newer construction, our only issue was finding the property. The road was not clearly marked, and it took us a minute to find the house. We would certainly recommend this property and choose to stay here again if we come back to Bailey’s Harbor

Overall, this new property is quite nice. We were traveling with our dog so it was a perfect fit in terms of size. We really enjoyed time on the large deck. The main issue during our stay has to do with the lack of A/C. It was extremely warm inside the house during our July stay and made it difficult to sleep at night.

Fantastic stay - beautiful property in the woods with lots of privacy and shade. Super close to Bailey’s Harbor and not far from all the other beach towns either. My only feedback would be that the house having no AC ended up being fine due to our mild weather, but if it were 90 it would have been rough. I think a window AC unit or two would be a reasonable upgrade at this price point.

This house is a gem tucked away in a wooded setting. It was clean, comfortable, charming and stocked with everything we needed. We loved sitting by the cozy fireplace and watching the snow fall. We were close to Baileys harbor amenities with easy access to all that Door County has to offer.

Nice open living space w big kitchen island for meal prep/seating. Well equipped kitchen w decent cookware (not always a given!) Good sized bedrooms and nice (tho small) single bath w shower. Beautiful large deck w table seating and BBQ overlooking quiet wooded area. Very private location but good proximity to town, close enough to walk. If you are a “dark room sleeper”, bring sleeping masks as there are no window treatments. And this time of year, that means very bright bedroom at 5am!We stayed for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shawn was a dream host, VERY responsive
