Best weekend ever

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful cozy cabin. My husband and I got married last weekend on the beautiful water spot in front of the cabin. Perfect honeymoon spot. We look forward to coming back every year for our anniversary.

Perfect winter getaway

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our time in the caboose! We spend two nights here to ski and explore the greater Seattle area while celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. The caboose has everything you need for a cozy stay in the woods. All the amenities are top notch, the bed comfortable, the entertainment fun and cute. We enjoyed the tower by the river and the hot tub, which both add a special element of luxury and relaxation on many different levels. The general store across the road has everything you need in a pinch, and Enumclaw isn't too far away for everything else. We highly recommend and will stay again whenever in the area again!

Cozy and Quaint Caboose

  • 4 of 5

This little red caboose is adorable. Very well appointed, with a comfortable queen bed, simple living area and charming fireplace. I was impressed with how stocked the place was not only with condiments and spices, but also cozy blankets and dvd's. Moreover, you are a mere two minute walk to the Naches Tavern with a prime rib Friday night and the general store right across the street should you need a last minute item.

I would say there are only two very minor downsides. First being the lack of one more seating option in the living room. The couch can fit 3 adults tightly, but a chair in addition would have been really nice. Second, the proximity to the hot tub is a bit close. I know that sounds silly, but with the "bumping" sound system in that thing, it would have been a different story had we had neighbors we did not know.

Mostly though, I would recommend this caboose to my friends and family. Thanks again for the warm weekend getaway.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the lovely review, an additional chair will be a great idea thank you for that. Yeah we kind of went all out when we bought the jacuzzi it does have a pretty nice stereo system.

Great cabin and hosts!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 stayed in the caboose. Very cozy and quiet. A creative lodging option that had everything that we needed. We skied and hiked during the days and played games, used the hot tub at night. Ann and Auggie are very friendly and helpful hosts.

Charming little getaway.

  • 5 of 5

We loved the caboose, it has great amenities and is close to plenty of activities. We visited all the local businesses and everyone was very helpful. We had a wonderful time hiking the Greenwater Lake Trail and Naches Peak Loop, then coming back to soak in the hot tub.

He has also enjoyed 20+ years as a singing guitar player in a local country/folk-rock band. Ann has been a Seattle-based Registered Nurse for many years, caring for her patients' she truly loves. Auggie and Ann purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Auggie and Ann chose Greenwater

My wife Ann and I seem to be drawn by the mountains snow capped peaks, spectacular rivers, wildlife, world class skiing, fishing as well as its many hiking & biking trails. In October of 2012 we found ourselves buying this property we named, “Two Cabins and a Caboose” and began turning it into a park-like setting that now offers local and world travelers experiences unlike any other region.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin includes greenwater only Party tower on the Sandy Beach and swimming hole!

This unique, fun-filled setting offers vacationers a great way to escape, meet new friends or rekindle family/friend ties while sharing stories around the bonfire pit or simply relaxing achy muscles in the jacuzzi. Water from the tap! Mt. Rainer has the best drinking water from anywhere in the world and our water straight from the tap is delicious! No need for plastic water bottles.
