Our completely renovated Mid-Century Modern 2-bedroom/2 bath house sits two-blocks from two spectacular Carmel beaches on Carmel Point—it’s the perfect refuge for a special celebration or a recharge and reset.

Watch the pelicans cruise overhead and hummingbirds buzz through the garden; take a scenic stroll into Carmel Village; relish the culinary delights of the area, walk on the sand, then let the calming surf sounds lull you to sleep and greet you again in morning!

At this time, we do not allow pets (except certified service animals).

The most AMAZING home to enjoy Carmel. It was 20 out of 10 stars. I wish I had more time to enjoy the house and garden. Absolutely stunning interior and exterior. The location was perfect. The communication was superb. I would not stay anywhere else if I get the chance to come back. This is definitely a gem!!

Everything about inspiration by the sea exceeded our expectations! The home is just lovely, very well appointed, comfortable and the location couldn’t be beat! Also feels like a home with a soul and is high quality! Daniel was a very communicative and accommodating host and we couldn’t recommend it more!

To say this is a first class, comfortable, homey stay is just not enough. From first contact through the end of the stay it was professional, inviting and utterly enjoyable. By far the best we have ever stayed at. Thank you so much, couldn’t recommend it enough, we will be back.

A fabulous experience all around. We booked for a week’s stay. The location is just a few minute walk to the beach in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The house was immaculate and upgraded and the property’s landscaping beautiful and serene. Plenty of room both inside and outside. The furniture was comfortable for relaxing and he provided all the comforts of home plus extras in the fully stocked kitchen ( snacks/coffee) bedrooms and baths. Host Daniel was highly communicative and very responsive to my many queries. He provided hiking, entertainment and restaurant recommendations that were spot on. We highly recommend for anyone who wants a supremely positive experience in Carmel! Looking forward to our next visit!!

My two sons and daughters-in-law and I came to Carmel by the Sea to celebrate my 85th birthday. This beautiful Carmel Point house was perfect for us! We enjoyed the large living space with its plentiful, comfortable seating where we could all gather to chat and read. And we decided to order take-out from our favorite restaurants and share our dinners at the large dining table where we could talk and laugh freely. We sat on the patio in the sun in the large back yard with its trees and flowering plants for our morning coffee. It was also very convenient to walk or drive to every place that makes Carmel special. And Daniel was a perfect host, a great communicator and very attentive! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely place with us! We hope to come again!

Great experience with our 5 night sister celebration in Carmel by the sea! Would highly recommend this home for; fabulous communication with owner/host, location, cleanliness, well equip in every room with detailed notes all around on 'how to' for everything.Be sure to take the very short walk around the corner at sunset, OH MY! Gorgeous! We could HEAR the ocean from the back patio. Landscaping is beautiful at the house and the neighborhood is 'storybook' with quaint well maintained homes, curved streets, Cypress trees, succulent plants. We were pleased with all of the restaurants we tried from recommendation booklet provided in the house, all in Carmel & Big Sur.Big Sur drive is easy and a 'show' all along the beautiful CA Coastline. Pfeiffer Park & Pfeiffer Beach (2 different places) are a must see while down that way. Had a casual birthday lunch and perfect weather to enjoy the view at Nepenthe! An iconic casual restaurant with a 5* view.The house is recently renovated with new Wash/Dryer, new kitchen appliances, fireplace was warm & wonderful, all linens were lush & comfy. We were excited we found this place & super pleased for the duration of the trip. Grab it before someone else does!

Our Carmel home has been in our family since 1958. We are native Californians with a deep ties to and love of the Carmel and the Monterey Peninsula.

We love the proximity of our house to two gorgeous Carmel beaches, the sea breezes, and the sounds of the Pacific surf that sooth us to sleep and greet us each morning we're there. Beyond that, we adore the Big Sur coastline, Carmel Valley, exploring the local neighborhoods by foot, and the diverse local restaurant scene, featuring local produce.

Carmel Point sits just beyond the hustle-bustle of Carmel Village, so while it's a peaceful and beautiful environment, it's also provides an easy walk (~1 mile along the shore) to town. Two majestic beaches sit within a lovely 5-min stroll (2 blocks) from the house. It's a magical spot!
