4-bedroom country house in charming Penela with AC
Casa Namaste is a special place in the mountains with spectacular views, hiking and biking trails, river beaches and a quaint village a short walk away. A place to totally relax and get acquainted with the peaceful, beautiful Portuguese countryside, and small village life. All that and still close to A-13, 30 minutes from Coimbra, 1 1/2 hours north to Porto, and south to Lisbon. 1 hr. from the ocean beaches. Casa Namaste is set up with a separate upstairs and downstairs, and an outdoor kitchen/barbeque. Upstairs has a full bathroom, two bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The downstairs has two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen and dining room, with an outdoor dining area. Free street parking. Many fruit trees on the property. You are welcome to pick any fruit in season. Lemons, oranges, persimmons, and figs are delicious! There are great country restaurants with-in 15-20 minute drives. There is an amazing river beach with restaurant 15 minutes by car, 1 1/2 hours hike. Breakfast on the balcony in the morning is amazing with the view of the local village and mountains. Evening sunsets are also spectacular with the colors of the Eucalyptus trees and mountain scenery.
