Peaceful Studio with ocean view on the reef side.

This great little self-contained studio apartment is only a short walk from the village, yet far enough away to enjoy real peace and quiet.

The studio on the ground floor of the main house offers a semi-secluded accommodation experience and comes with owners dedicated to ensuring your stay is comfortable. Ideal for 1 or 2 people seeking a tropical hideaway, the studio is situated 65 feet from the beach. The gate in the small adjacent lot, allows for easy access to the beach. The Gumbo Limbo SEA-esta Studio features a combined living / bedroom with queen bed, lounge area and kitchenette with fridge, microwave and hot plate and AC. Private bath with hot and cold water.

Enjoy the breeze on the comfortable outdoor furniture on private large covered patio.
The oversized patio with tables, comfortable chairs and an outdoor grill plus complimentary bikes and WiFi make this little studio a terrific value.

There are many golf cart taxis on the island or you have complimentary bikes to ride. Also, it is only a 10 min. walk to the village.

We respect your privacy but are always available if you need something.

If you require more than one room, please check our other three rentals on the property. In addition to the Gumbo Limbo – Studio, the “Gumbo Limbo – Aria Kat Art Cabana“, the “Gumbo Limbo – Go Slow Cabana“, and the “Gumbo Limbo’s Dreaded Grape” will provide for all the space that you need for a vacation with family and friends!

Perfect for quite vacation

Second time staying at this fabulous little boutique resort. The owners are very gracious and welcoming and are available to help with anything you need. Solo traveler staying for a long weekend. The studio room was perfect. Check in process was easy and the room had everything I needed to be comfortable. I enjoy being a bit further from the split when I go and this fit the bill- bonus points for having bikes available to the guests! Tito the resident dog was the sweetest too!

I really enjoyed my stay at Gumbo Limbo. I loved the location it was just far enough outside of town to be quiet but still walkable/bikeable. I lived they had free bikes to use the entire stay. I rode a bike everywhere. Ben met me at check in and went over everything I could possibly need to know. It was a very relaxing stay.

Gumbo Limbo

The Gumbo Limbo studio apartment was perfect for us. We were close to the ocean and had bikes to explore the island. The bed was comfortable easy to sleep in. The neighboring resorts allowed us to use their docks, where we relaxed and swam everyday. We came for relaxation, but we did do one snorkeling trip with Ragga Sail. It was amazing. Food was amazing almost every where we tried. Try the places in the middle of the island.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Me and my partner had an exceptional stay at Gumbo Limbo. No complaints. I appreciated the purified water and was able to cook a few meals with the cook ware and cook top provided. This was a quiet, peaceful location. The air conditioning worked well as the temperatures where well into the 90"s. Ben was a great host! Thank you.

Great location-10/15 min walk to downtown. Being able to use the neighboring property for the dock was huge plus. The bikes needed more attention(some had flat tires/chains fell off) but nice to have the option instead of having to rent separately . The host met us upon arrival and gave a great intro. The patio furniture is home to some ants, so everytime we sat outside we had a few new bites, so we used the wooden chairs/avoided the cushions. Overall would stay again.

Neat, clean and well kept. Flor checked in with me daily to make certain that everything was fine. Tito and Shadow (the resident pooches) were never far from my side. My first trip to Belize was a joy!!! I will be back again next May.

We live on the Gumbo Limbo Property and we can either be available for a cocktail and a chat, or you will hardly see us at all – up to your preference.

However, we will always be available for questions and to attend to your needs.

We have 2 dogs on the property. A 7-year old Old English Sheepdog mix named Shadow (aka Fuzzy Butt), and Tito (aka "Dumbo Limbo") our 4-months old "Belizean Potlicker". If you like dogs, you will love those two fuzzies!
