Beautiful apartment that is a 15 minute walk (4 minute drive) from downtown Asheville. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of extra blankets and towels. The second bedroom is down the hall so there would be privacy if it was used. The host has been helpful and extremely responsive. I couldn't have asked for more.
Clean, quick and easy check in and check out! Provided fresh linens, shampoo/conditioner/body wash! We didn’t even have to strip beds or take out trash for checking out (just place trash in trash cans)! Host was friendly, attentive, and quick to reply!
This place was very close to what we wanted to do on our trip. The room was clean and nicely appointed with what we needed. It was quite as well!

Great location - walk to UNC-A and to downtown.Challenges:Construction -all day- upstairs in the main house was very disruptive. So disappointed - this was our rest day.The other issues that came up were more minor, but had an effect and could be addressed for future guests:-Bed in the back bedroom squeaks with every move-WiFi was always working, just chronic Internet connection failures-Portable air conditioners are so loud, watch alarms were inaudible-Unable to get the bathroom cooled off - it was always too warm-Dehumidifier was new to me, and having to empty it everyday - it was loud and seemed to never take a rest-CheckIn instructions were contradictory between the VRBO details and the welcome binder.Non-Operable Backups Needed:-Batteries for remotes-Bulbs for bathroom nightlight-Mason jar lights in kitchenCheck-In: With no key in the lock box and no prior information on the digital access system, the host did stay on the phone to make sure the app downloaded and access was functional.Reservations: Host was prompt with adjusting the deposit for a shorter stay.Amenities: Appreciated the water, snacks, kitchen essentials, makeup remover wipes & dark washcloths, shower seat, plentiful towels, tv and separate climate control in each space. The main reason we chose this property is for ADA access and accommodations - met our needs.
It looks like the pictures. Lots of space for a family. 3 televisions and bedrooms are private. This is a basement apartment. Someone lives above, and they make a lot of noise.
Everything was wonderful! The check-in process was very easy and we had everything we needed for the weekend, including a quiet location and HUGE bedrooms! Perfect spot to relax with friends; I will definitely check this out for future Asheville visits!
The location of this apartment is idea if you want to explore downtown Asheville. The place is also close to the university of Asheville. The owner was extremely responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our two nights stay for a concert /toured around the area.
Great spot with three sleeping options in close proximity to downtown. Clean and cozy with off street parking for two cars. No kitchen, but we were planning to eat out each night, and that situation is identified in the description. Would stay again.
Clean as a pin. Fit our group perfectly. Thank you.

Business trip
I was in Asheville on business. This property is conveniently located near downtown and the arts district without the associated noise and parking issues. Very reasonably priced compared to downtown hotels.
The property is close to grocery and fast food restaurants. It’s convenient to Asheville attractions. The interior is very nicely updated and decorated. It’s perfect for 1-2 people. For more than 2, additional seating would be nice. Parking just outside the unit was a definite perk!
Excellent apartment. Only issue was the sound proofing from the upstairs. Very noisy

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to downtown AVL. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. The check in/out information provided in the VRBO listing was different than the information stated in the manual provided in the apartment. The host referenced downloading an app for unlocking and locking the door but it did not work. When I shared that the app did not work, the host did not provide any assistance. A lock box holding the door key was available but it seemed rather old and damaged by weather perhaps? Dialing in the code was tedious as the dials would not stay in place as we tried to set the code. The apartment is in the basement of the owner’s home. It was comfortable but the owners were loud upstairs moving about their home, especially early on the Sunday morning we checked out.
Perfect basement apartment in a neighborhood not far from anything. King beds! Cute kitchenette, tvs in every room. Private driveway. The only note for those considering is the dehumidifiers and AC units make a lot of noise. We don’t mind cause we are used to using white noise at night, but someone who is used to quiet would not like it.Would stay again!
