We loved our stay here. The place was so well-appointed and clean. There were little touches of comfort everywhere and the host, Lisa - was checking in to make sure we had everything. Great communication, incredible location, and perfect amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Lisa was a wonderful host and the space was really lovely and well appointed. It’s walking distance to downtown and the arts district but still in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. It’s an excellent base to explore Asheville!

Lisa's artfully designed space, private porch and exceptionally clean apartment make this a standout rental. You will enjoy the birdsong in the woods out back and as well as the dining options just a short way up the hill. Parallel parking skills help if you have a car but you will prefer walking this wonderful Asheville neighborhood and neighboring downtown.

Beautiful and spacious, settled in a suite with a porch and wooded view. Everything was wonderful! Steps may be tricky for someone with balance or walking issues. Lisa, our host was kind and friendly - and also a talented artist! Highly recommend.

Great location on quiet street yet near to downtown. Pictures accurately represent the unit which is on ground floor of a house. Could sometimes hear footsteps from floor above but not intrusive. Street parking. Bed very comfortable if you like firm mattress. Welcoming place to come back to at the end of the day. Host communications timely and responsive. Will stay here again if available when I come back.

As advertised, a new and lovely indoor space and back porch with friendly touches -- so nice to enter. Background drone of the interstate is present in this otherwise quiet spot. Minor issues: The pleasing and new duvet carried a fragrance which the owner initially denied. Also, would recommend clarifying exactly where she wants you to park before settling in. All in all, a good setting from which to explore Asheville.

The kitchen was equipped with toaster oven, microwave and multiple means of making coffee. All we needed for a 4 day stay. There was also an available hot plate and an assortment of pots/pans but we never made use of them.

The property was clean and quiet, and the host was very sweet and communicative! The location was also very convenient - we had easy street parking so we could drive if needed, but walking downtown was also easy and quite nice if the weather was good that day. It was the perfect getaway for our weekend trip.

Our stay was delightful. The space is large, and artfully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The back porch is a treat if the weather is warm enough. Lisa was attentive via text which was nice. The location is terrific as a departure point, though it's hilly enough that we chose driving over walking. Do be aware that the space is on the lower level, so you will need to carry bags down a number of outside steps. We would definitely stay there again.

Wow! I have nothing but praises for Lisa and her place!! We had some extenuating circumstances come up last minute, and Lisa was extremely accommodating and gracious. Once we did arrive to her place, it was great! What a haven! Beautifully decorated, simple but meaningful touches all throughout her place. The suite was close to everything! Easy parking in a quaint neighborhood! We would definitely stay again!

Fifteen years ago I rusticated to the mountains of Western North Carolina to immerse myself in the study of ceramics at the Penland School of Crafts -- an amazing arts and crafts school 45 miles north of Asheville.

My studio in Asheville is located in Grovewood Village adjacent to the Grove Park Inn. I spend the majority of my time making one-of-a-kind hand-built ceramics.

My home is a treasure to me. I am blessed to have enough space to share it with friends, family and guests!

It is my pleasure to create a special experience for you. The suite has been designed with your comfort and pleasure in mind. Great care has been taken to create the ideal "home away from home" while exploring Asheville!
