We had a wonderful time! The house is so comfortable, clean and spacious. Attractions so close. I would recommend this property, we will definitely be back ! The communication with the owners was immediate, even though we had no issues. 5 ladies - plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms, privacy and anything you really need for an effortless stay on vacation! What a great vacation!! The home was beautiful, well kept and clean. The host was responsive to any and all questions. Plenty of room for multiple families if needed. With three floors, 3 baths, 3 bedrooms, open floor plan, well stocked kitchen, this home was a great decision to rent! And the lower level, amazing, it had it's own kitchenette and walkout to the nice sized yard! More than enough parking. The walk to private beach was about 5-7 minutes. Plenty of sand to sit, deeper areas of the river where you could swim, made it even better. The property is close to everything. We will be back!! We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay with the family!

Cozy place to stay with more-than-enough space for hanging out and beds for sleeping. Host communication set us up for a wonderful summer visit to an area we love to explore.

We had such a great stay at Donna’s house! It’s a convenient location for all of the North Conway adventures while being tucked away in a quiet location. The house was the perfect size for my family of 3 and had rooms to spare. Great kitchen with everything we needed and laundry on site was a great perk!

Nice place to stay. Only disadvantage is having to take trash. Dump station was not convenient timing so had to take four days of trash home with us. Also had to launder towels used.

Coexisting peacefully with bears is part of life in the White Mountains. We ask guests to be responsible for their own trash, and not to leave any outside. Our recommendation is to plan a quick trip to the free and nearby landfill the afternoon before departure, as the landfill is not open in the morning. Our only option would be a large green metal locking Waste Management dumpster by our front door, which we have chosen not to do. Cooperation with town rules ensures bears do not become a nuisance in the area. We are happy to provide a washer and dryer for your use during your stay. If you use a lot of towels, more than four, please put them through, so as not to overwhelm cleaning schedules. We hope you have a pleasant stay in our home.

Good stay. Some odd parts

Overall positives: comfortable bed, nice selection of cookware, after troubleshooting devices (luckily we are familiar with mini split quirks) temperatures were easily set to our preferences. Great location. Minus one star because: upstairs bedrooms only has sheer half curtains so became bright enough we were up at 530 with the sun, some of the check out requests were easily missed and/or odd. While they've posted you are responsible for your trash, they could be more clear as that means putting it in your car and driving it home or finding a dumpster because you can't bring it to their dump (you need to check out before the dump opens). Asking guests to restock paper goods and cleaning supplies, turn the water valve off on the washing machine, strip the beds and put all the sheets in the bathrooms (on the paperwork in the house) and in the washer (on the listing) is confusing and feels like a lot. Washing the towels if you use more than 4 in a house with bed for 10 is off base for me. So it was a nice stay, but you leave on an unpleasant note.

We do ask guests to be responsible for their own trash, the landfill is free and 5 minutes away. We have opted not to have a large Waste Management dumpster by our front door. That is the only secure choice available because of bears. Trash cannot be left outside. The landfill hours are awkward, we suggest guests plan a quick run to the landfill the afternoon prior to their departure. Part of the White Mountain experience is coexisting in harmony with the natural beauty and wildlife that surrounds us! We do supply paper goods, laundry soap and other things like sunscreen and insect repellent folks may need during their stay, we only ask that guests don’t empty the shelves and take these full size products home with them when they go, just please leave them for the next visitors.

Perfect stay. House is exactly as described. We were a family of 8 adults. Plenty of room for everyone. House is stocked with everything you need and then some. Have no doubt this will be our go to in the future. Donna was wonderful to work with.

Great home for families!

My family and I stayed for 8 days and seven nights at this location and it was perfect for us! We traveled with three adults (71, 38, and 37) and two kids (3 and 6), and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and more, including a blender, crock-pot, coffee maker, spices, coffee filters, cleaning supplies, trash bags and paper towels. There are plenty of towels and linens. The house had puzzles galore in the living room. If you are traveling with young kids, just something to note is that there are no plastic dishes or cups and you might want to bring some toys or coloring from home. Also, the doors are all relatively easy to unlock, so you'll want to keep an eye on the kids so they can't wander! Also, if you are going to the Saco River beach, definitely bring bug spray... We learned that the hard way! The hosts were very communicative and responded very quickly via text anytime I reached out. This house is a gem and would highly recommend!

Fantastic getaway

My family and I enjoyed this wonderful house near the Saco. Beautiful hiking trails walking distance from the property, private river access down the road and close enough to everything modern but far enough away to feel like the middle of nowhere! Truly exceptional!

Saco river trip

It was a good set up for the 7 of us. 3 bathrooms were a plus. We went on the saco river tubing and went to zebs and also some shopping at the winery and outlets. The house was a good size for us and we were very comfortable. There was an issue with the refrigerator not closing properly. We had a great time. Thank you.
