About Kitty Jones

We moved to the Del Norte area in 1986 and live on a ranch in Big Flat surrounded by wilderness. We raise cattle and sheep on the ranch and several horses. We purchased the coastal house for a rental in town and remodeled the inside with our daughter's help in 2012.

Kitty Jones purchased this cottage in 1999

Why Kitty Jones chose North Coast

The house is located close to the ocean and short drive to the many adventures Del Norte County offers.

What makes this cottage unique

Sit on the porch and enjoy beautiful sunsets and listen to the waves of the ocean after a fun filled day.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Cute Crescent City Bungalow

  • 4 of 5

In the middle of our nine day National Parks camping tour, we stayed at Kitty's cute beach house. It was wonderful to refreeze our ice, restock food, and cook a nice meal. Perfect treat between several nights of camping. We biked from the house along the beach road, down to the Battery Lighthouse, Marine Mammal Rescue center, and to the view point bluffs of St. George Lighthouse in the other direction. We really enjoyed dinner at the Good Harvest. It was everything we needed. Kitty was kind and responsive. Enjoy!

Cozy and perfect for a stay on the coast

  • 5 of 5

Everything was organized in the house and well supplied. The girls enjoyed the bookcases of books and movies! This was a great house to stay in for touring in the area and close to services in Crescent City.

Well done!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were looking for a spur-of-the moment, pet friendly coastal getaway, and this charming little place hit the nail on the head. Yes, it is an older home, but nicely updated and immaculately kept. The quiet neighborhood provides safe, comfortable walking, and easy beach access. A big thanks to Kitty for all of her hard work (it shows!) and her prompt, friendly, professional communication. Two thumbs up!!
