We moved to the Del Norte area in 1986 and live on a ranch in Big Flat surrounded by wilderness. We raise cattle and sheep on the ranch and several horses. We purchased the coastal house for a rental in town and remodeled the inside with our daughter's help in 2012.
Owner purchased this Cottage in 1999
Why Owner chose Crescent City
The house is located close to the ocean and short drive to the many adventures Del Norte County offers.
What makes this Cottage unique
Sit on the porch and enjoy beautiful sunsets and listen to the waves of the ocean after a fun filled day.

Nicer older home. Had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and inviting.
Great location. We walked to the end of the street several times to walk on the beach and check out tide pools. Crescent city has so much to offer and this house was centrally located. They except pets but there was no sign that pets had been there. We would rent it again.
Thank you !!! We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay with us.
Comfortable, clean and convenient
This is a great spot in Crescent City! Super clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and space to relax. Minutes to restaurants and grocery store. You can walk to the beach and located in a very quiet neighborhood. Kitty and her daughter were easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. So thoughtful to leave a bottle of wine for us! I highly recommend!
This is a cozy home that easily sleeps 4 people and could handle a young family of 8. Electronically, it handles high speed internet and can stream what you need (especially when the neighbors shut down and stop siphoning for their PUBG tournament). The tv is fair and still in the DVD era. But why have a VERBO near the beach if all you want is great tv? The kitchen and dining room equipment is well used and highly functional. Like Grandma’s house, it doesn’t have a garbage disposal or a dishwasher, but everything you could want to keep things tidy is right there and easy to use. The decor eclectic and warm. Tide pools, parks, and sandy beach are five minutes walk. Shopping at any store is less than a five minute drive. It is far enough away from the highway so that you do not know it is even there and the city streets in this spot seem to make drivers want to take their time driving through.
The greatest thing about this home away from home is that everything works and it is so charming that I can’t wait to have the chance to return.

Well-kept, neat, clean, comfotable
House is set up perfectly for a comfortable stay. Description, pictures, and reviews are right on--there were no surprises or disappointments, and we were impressed by how neat and clean the property was!
Town needs a little TLC. Loved Sea Quake Brewery!
House was great!! Love its historic character especially since my husband, I and kids live in an historic neighborhood and have remodeled 2 houses of our own.
Neighbors all around are a little sketchy tho. Beach was fun. Elephant seal right on the beach where we were walking, we loved the light house. Thanks for the stay.
Comfortable, clean, pet-friendly accommodation
