With two inviting bedrooms, this home is perfect for couples, friends, or small families.

Welcome to this charming 1915 Craftsman, a home filled with history, creativity, and a deep sense of care. This was our mother’s house, and much of the artwork, décor, and color throughout the space reflects her original vision. We’ve preserved what made it special while updating the essentials for comfort and ease.

We welcome guests from all over the world, and we’ve shaped the home to feel warm, personal, and inviting—whether you're here for work, exploration, or rest.

The Bathroom

A spacious, newly remodeled bath with a deep soaking tub, rainfall-style shower, and a tucked-away toilet nook. Plenty of counter space and a large mirror make getting ready effortless.

The Kitchen

A fully equipped, modern kitchen featuring:
• Extensive dishware & eclectic glassware
• Coffee maker, French press, kettle, blender
• Ample cookware, sharp knives, spices, oils, and essentials
Everything you need to cook a real meal—or several.

Bedrooms

Two cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds (one queen, one full), plus closets and dressers for settling in. An optional futon in the living room can sleep one additional guest.

Living and Dining

A light-filled living room with ample sofa seating, handcrafted décor, and original built-ins. The dining area comfortably seats 4–5 for shared meals or remote work.

Outdoor Spaces

A street-facing patio perfect for morning coffee, plus a shaded pergola seating area at the front of the property for relaxing in the evenings.

The Neighborhood

Located in one of San Diego’s most vibrant historic urban neighborhoods—where I’ve lived since 2008—it offers unbeatable access to the city’s best areas: Downtown, Gaslamp, Balboa Park, North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, Bankers Hill, Barrio Logan, Coronado, and the Convention Center. You're also just 20 minutes from the border.

I have lived in this neighborhood of San Diego for almost 20 years. I love being in the center of the city, the diversity of our community, and our easy access to so many wonderful place. I am an avid world traveler both for work and for adventure. I have stayed in many short term rentals and hotels, and do my best to ensure that my vacation rentals would be the sort of place I would want to stay in myself.

Why they chose this property

We are very close to downtown, Petco Park, Coronado, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Hillcrest, North Park and more. It is a vibrant historic neighborhood in a very urban part of San Diego.

What makes this property unique

This is a historic craftsman house, that my mother lived in for many years. We have kept her colorful artistic decor, with a Mexican flair. We want guests in our home to feel as if they are in a home, not a hotel.
