This delightful 120-year-old farmhouse, overlooking a vineyard, sits on two acres. Recently renovated, the house is 3,000 square feet and can comfortably sleep 6-8 people in three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with queen beds and the third with a king and a view of the vineyards. The remodeled upstairs bathroom is charming with a claw foot tub and pedestal sink.
The downstairs has a large front room, a dining room and a separate parlor that is great for gathering around the fireplace with family and friends. There is a large wrap around porch that has two twin beds, which also have a view of the vineyards. The porch is also a wonderful place to dine on warm summer evenings.
The award winning kitchen (Northern CA Kitchen Design Competition) has a farm table and large sliding doors that open onto a wisteria covered deck and seating area - the perfect place for your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. The adjacent dining room provides an elegant extension of the kitchen and includes another cozy fireplace. A second attractively updated bathroom along with a laundry/mud room is located just off the kitchen.

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, but now live in Napa Valley and have for thirty-four years. As a child I spent many weekends visiting our family home in St. Helena.

Why owner chose Saint Helena
This house has been in our family for over eighty years. The house was built in the 1880's and my great-uncle purchased it in 1935 from a historical Napa Valley wine family. People have always loved gathering at the St. Helena house and we want that to continue for generations to come.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The wrap around porch has been the setting for many wonderful dinners over the years. Sitting on the porch eating and drinking wine, while at the same time looking over the vineyards along with the views of the eastern mountains - Priceless!

Perfect Napa Valley Experience !
Jim was an amazing host and the location is perfect. We were able to easily walk to brunch in St. Helena and most of the wineries were just a few minutes away. The house and view are beautiful and we had everything we needed (enough towels, toiletries, wine glasses, and bedding). Overall this made for a perfect girls get away!
Charming Vineyard Farmhouse
We spent four spring days in this charming farmhouse, located a few blocks from the center of St Helena. It was a perfect base from which our group of friends with young kids explored the vineyards and restaurants along 29 and the Silverado Trail. The house was stocked with everything that we needed and the layout allowed our kids to nap undisturbed while we could hang out together in the living areas. It rained most of the time during our vacation, but the house allowed us to have a great vacation.
Amazing property, great location, great girls trip
We had a fabulous time at the St. Helena house. The property is beautiful with many citrus trees and a big beautiful olive tree. The house is very comfortable and every amenity is provided. We loved the various living spaces and the kitchen was great with plenty of dish ware, tea towels etc. We cancelled our dinner reservations one night so that we could stay in, cook and enjoy the gorgeous house. The 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and the only difficulty we had was figuring out the bedroom situation as we were 4 girls and there are 3 bedrooms. We knew this going in and were hoping the sleeping porch would be an option but it was a cold and chilly weekend so a couple of the girls ended up sharing the king bed. There is so much space on the first floor of the house it seemed a shame there wasn't one more bed on the first floor inside the house. Maybe in the winter months this could be an option? Not a big deal but something to consider if you have a big group. The location and quality of the rental more than made up for this minor flaw. Otherwise if you are visiting in warmer months, the beds on the sleeping porch would be paradise! We were sad to leave the property. We would definitely book again. Highly recommend!!

The whole experience with this house was exceptional. Communications with the owner was incredible and the house has so much to offer. We have nothing but positive things to say as every detail was just spot on. You can do not better than this.
We are located in the heart of Napa Valley close to the many wineries. In addition to wineries, Napa Valley has several world renown restaurants some of which are in walking distance from our house. If you like the outdoors within minutes you can cycle some of the best roads in Napa Valley. If you like shopping you can walk to the charming town of St. Helena and experience the the towns many shops.
