Stunning 15th Century farmhouse in 30 acres with private pools close to village

Renovated 15th century farm house, Can Bernadas is a short walking distance to Alella centre and just 25 minutes from central Barcelona. The 30 acre estate has two swimming pools using natural mineral water from the mountains, orange grove, orchard, own lake and forest. Alella is a popular wine and food destination. The beach at El Masnou is just down the road - 8 minutes by car or bus - and there many others along Costa Brava.

This is the main farm house on two levels, with a huge kitchen, living room, large terrace and private pool. There are four bedrooms, three baths on the top level. For groups of more than 8, you will have one or even two of the lower level apartments, each with their own bath, kitchen and terrace - idea for larger families and friends, work away, or just lots and lots of space.

Pets are very welcome. We have a friendly Airedale terrier who is very child friendly and runs around the farm. At night there you'll hear a range of owls and birds. We have fish and tortoises in the lake, and two friendly donkeys Valen and Pau munching away to keep the fields tidy - they would love you to come and visit ! You will see our sheep Bo, Mo, No and Yes tagging along.

For up to 8 persons, you will be assigned 4 bedrooms, which are all on the main floor. For up to 10 persons, you will be assigned 5 bedrooms, one of which is on the lower ground floor. For up to 12 persons, you will be assigned all 6 bedrooms, 2 of which are on the lower ground floor.

The 6th bedroom (with its kitchen and bathroom) has an entrance from the outside, on the other side of the building, on a different level. This separate apartment could be rented out separately to another group, but you will have all your privacy, and will not share any living spaces with them. Of course, you can block its booking to others, by booking this out, at a very discounted rate.
