You couldn't ask for a better location. It is right downtown and walking distance to everything we needed. The living room/dining room/kitchen area was the most spacious of anywhere we stayed in Iceland.

Ragnar was an amazing host and the apartment wasAMAZING! My cousin and I traveled together and it was the perfect amount of room for us. The location could not have been better! I would not only recommend this place, I plan to book it again the next time i’m in Reykjavik!

Beautiful and spacious penthouse apartment in the heart of Reykjavik. Clean, comfortable and modern space to relax and enjoy our stay. Walking distance to everything: shopping, dining, bars, attractions. Communication with owner was easy and he was available if we needed him. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Ragnar is a terrific host, was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in early, and was always available to answer any questions. He provided us with great recommendations for restaurants and sites..The apartment was in the best location in Reykjavík, within walking to just about every thing!!

Lovely, sunny, warm flat. Spacious. Could do with some wardrobes maybe and blinds on the windows. Host met us to show us how everything worked and popped by with some items we were missing. Great communication at very short notice.

My family of three had a fantastic time staying at this property. It is within walking distance of all main sights/restaurants in downtown Reykjavik. It has covered parking which is a premium in the city. The jacuzzi on the roof deck is a great way to start/end your day no matter what the weather is outside. Most importantly, Ragnar is a welcoming host who was responsive to our questions/needs.

Wonderful property! Spacious, safe, private parking, able to hold a small gathering.. ohhhh and the hot tub!!! It fills and heats with geothermal water in no time and is so HOT! Loved it! Will definitely stay again! Host was super accommodating and was just a quick text away for any questions we had. Thanks Ragnar!

The unit’s major advantage, its location in the city center, was great for easily getting around the city. However, the bars operated all night long so the noise level at night was too much. Very hard to get any decent sleep. No AC, so windows needed to be open to cool down the bedrooms. Thus, the nighttime noise problem. Second bedroom did not have a black out shade. Bring an eye mask. The hot tub worked the first day only. The host used a very old and rickety stool which you had to use to crawl up into the hot tub. Very dangerous. The patio spaces needed to be cleaned and weeded. They were not inviting. We did not have a car but the unit offered garage parking which is a plus for that part of town. Laundry was available at no cost in a common laundry room. Not many washers and dryers so prepare to wait your turn. Not an inexpensive unit, not sure the price/value is there.

Ragnar is an excellent host! He was very easy to communicate with and responsive. He met us at the property, helped us navigate the parking, and gave us a tour of the penthouse (along with where to find the laundry and trash). We were a few steps away from Laugavegur, which is an amazing pedestrian street in the heart of downtown Reykjavik filled with shops, restaurants, and cafes. The parking is extremely convenient, especially if you plan to visit the many wonderful places in the area. We enjoyed the hot tub on the rooftop terrace. I would highly recommend booking this property if it is available for your stay.
